Blind man runnin

through the light of the night

With an answer in his handCome on down to the river of sight And you can really understand. (N. Young)

where were we ? ah yes....the sad disappearance of the watering hole. I have always thought of the Great American Bar as so much more than a place to get a drink. It's a place to get your news, interpret the news and discuss the news with your neighbor...both the temporary neighbor on the next stool and the lasting citizens of the town in which you imbibe.

When i started my second stint in the financial district (after having been chased to the Garden state in the aftermath of the collapse of the towers) I found myself at a firm that discouraged drinking at lunch every single day, and so on occasion instead of going to O'haras next door; i would venture across the pit towards J&R Records and rediscovered an old haunt i had not visited in a decade. The BEEKMAN Pub........the thing i loved most was a separation wall that stood around 4 feet high and separated the Bar from the dining room.....it had a ledge and barstools beneath......if the barstools were all taken (which they often were in the golden age of alcohol , before the financial collapse of 2008-09) you could get a pint, order a burger and sit at the ledge and not feel like a redheaded stepchild..... i used to drink with my boy Dano in here....sometimes planned and sometimes we would just run into each other at the ledge.....we were both drawn to this bar by the same attribute but for different reasons.....we used to laugh the Nobody will Ever find you in the Beekman.....lost at the moment was the irony that we both quite often did find the other at the mahogany cave across from the Hospital......the Guiness was grand, the food edible, the prices were reasonable......but it was the bar itself that held the magic......the little stained glass sign behind the till that shouted Welcome to the Beekman.....and when you approached from the streets there were times when you swore they must be closed.....but once you opened the door it was like walking onto the field at Yankee Stadium. I mourn the passing of these great Cathedrals ....i feel empathy for those that never got to experience the emotional rescue that these legendary haunts provided. She was established in 1936.......she witnessed a lot of NYC history ...just a stones throw from the base of the Brooklyn Bridge and down the block from city hall....across the street from the hospital and the constant wailing of the sirens of the dead and dying.......2+3=BEEER

Cold wind rippin

 down the alley at dawn

And the morning paper fliesDead man lying by the side of the roadWith the daylight in his eyes  (N. Young)

some of this may be news to some.......others know it all too well. The great bar rooms of the financial district are dead and buried....some died after 9/11 , others were killed in a long slow death by the China Flu shutdowns. Wall street used to buzz night and day with brokers and back offices side by side...and on pretty much every corner was a watering hole with a Mahogany alter....a place to do business or celebrate a job well done. A place to meet old friends and make new ones...some of those bars traced their origins to the great Depression and ultimately the end of prohibition. I used to love getting to these bara early in the day...and i would sit amongst the history and soak it in....i would let my mind wander and think about what tales and events these 4 walls witnessed......who was here when Pearl Harbour was attacked....and how many of them lived to raise a glass when we returned the favor on Hiroshima? Who came in off the street for a pint and a glimpse of the TV when they heard Kennedy was shot , and who spent an endless afternoon watching the Mets win the pennant over the astros in 86? Each bar had it's one place in my heart, united usually by the common thread of an old school irishman behind the bar.

I remember Monday august 23rd 1999......my first day at Instinet in the WTC.....i decided to walk North at lunchtime and ended up at the Reade Street Pub and could not believe that i had never been there before.....i remember they had a lunch special served only at the bar.....a burger with Blue Cheese and a pint of Guiness for $10.....a Black&Bleu .....i was in love......the woodwork cried out with the tales of 120 years.....the space at 135 Reade Street had been a bar since 1878...it became my favorite haunt....as i hired a team of friends around me at Instinet, i would take them to the Reade Street Pub for lunch on their first day...One time i brought a friend in for a pint and he stopped dead in his tracks as if he had seen a ghost after ordering a Guiness.....i asked if he was okay and he said the bartender was the spitting image of his father that had passed away years earlier....it was that kind of place, not scary, but the warmth of a million spirits seemed to float in and out......and i kept coming back....long after 9/11, if i found myself in that section of Manhattan i would stop in.......when Val and I would go to Wolfgangs for steaks at Christmas we would start with a pint at the Reade St......when i ran the Tunnels to Towers we would park on Reade Street and come back for rehydration after the race.....the space behind the bar along the mirror was a collection of memorabilia through the years....the last time i was there....pre pandemic.....amongst the patches from the first responders around the world...nestled in between the photos of various ticker tape parades was a green bumper sticker that stated SHAKEDOWN STREET.........yep, this place was dam close to home. I am sorry to report that in May of 2021 she closed her doors for good.........2+3=BEEER.........tomorrow i will share news of another gem that has fallen off the crown

Don't let it bring you downIt's only castles burningFind someone who's turningAnd you will come around

Mother doesn't go out anymore

Just sits at home and rolls her spastic eyes

But every weekend through the doorCome words of wisdom from the world outside (Joe Jackson)

just some stories or extra facts that may not have made the print edition of your local paper......

Dr Fauci, a career civil servant; saw his family net worth double between 2019 and 2021 according to Nonprofit "openthebooks" watchdog. The Good doctor is now worth over $12 million dollars. So while the bartenders, waiters and millions of other Americans were living on Payroll Protection subsidies because of his draconian shutdowns, this Bensonhurst Gindaloon was rollin in the dough.

Heart breaking story ho hum from the South Bronx.....3 little kids poisoned by fentanyl at their Daycare center....shocked everyone is....who could know that illegal aliens would setup a daycare center as cover for a drug ring ? well a quick interview with the people that lived on the block shows that pretty much everyone knew.......day care signs were in the windows for 18 months but NO KIDS were ever seen coming or going...according to one neighbor .....lots of visitors at all hours of the night, but no kids until a few weeks ago. I wonder how many of these concerned citizens called 311 or dropped a dime to the local Police ?  Police ? fuck the Police...

a CIA whistleblower claims that 6 of 7 analysts on a team of investigators concluded that the China Flu originated from the lab in Wuhan...and the CIA paid them hush money to change their story. Let that sink in....how is that not the lead story on every news station for every day until the guilty parties are hung on the National mall? 40 years ago i sat in a high school classroom and learnt about the evil soviet union and how the CCP owned the airwaves and newspapers and disseminated and reshaped the news that was allowed to trickle down to the masses. Today we are the Soviet Union of the 1980's.

A 53 year old New England Patriot Fan was punched in the face and collapsed and died during the Sunday Night Football game at Gillette Stadium. This poor bastard wasn't even cold before they started throwing shade on him. Was he drunk, did he start the altercation, did he have a medical condition.....as if any of it mattered ....rest assured the NFL lawyers and brain trust are hard at work trying to paint this picture in a more favorable light, they can not/will not let their brand take a well-deserved hit in the forum of public opinion..this victim will become the villian..the hard truth is that sports and sporting events in this country have become too violent. Frustrated drunk Fans are chasing their youth, thinking somehow they are actually part of the team and living in a fantasy world where they care more about winning than the millionaires donning the team colors in the arena. I regret my involvement in this ugly progression. I allowed my years of frustration as a Ranger fan ( in the years before 94 ) fueled by too much alcohol to manifest into ugly behavior. I took it personally if a fan of the opponent sat in section 419 . I went out of my way to curse and make them feel uncomfortable. I wish i had carried myself differently. I do not anticipate going to many professional sporting events in the future.

Biden was hard at work yesterday forgiving more student debt and granting temporary work permits to 400,000 illegal immigrants.........well one truth remains      2+3=BEEER

i pulled my harpoon outta

  of my dirty red bandana

I was blowin' sad while Bobby sang the blues (Kris Kristofferson)

i had to search this blog to see what i have already said about the man in the red bandanna.....and either the search feature is not working properly or by some horrible omission i have yet to share his story. Maybe it is because September is the month where i think the most.....but write and produce the least......truth is it is a month of painful memories and every year i try to fill the calendar with events to keep myself distracted and usually wake up depressed and cancel my plans.....I suppose the fact that i am aware/concious  of my mood swings is a good thing......anyway , let me tell you one of a zillion of the critically important stories from the disgusting aftermath of September the 11th 2001.

Welles Remy Crowther was born in Nyack NY in May 1977....as a young boy he used to watch his Dad getting ready for church by wrapping a comb in a red bandanna and placing it inside his pocket. When he was 6 his Dad gave him his first banadanna.....and it became his trademark. he would wear one under his sports uniforms and carried one with him to school every day. At 16 he joined his father as a volunteer Firefighter. He attended Boston College where he played Lacrosse and graduated with honors in 1999. He took a Job as an equities trader for Sandler O'Neill on the 104th floor of the South Tower.

When a plane hit the north tower, Welles called his mother and left her a message stating he was okay and would be evacuating, that was the last time they heard from him. Survivors told the story of a young man in the South Tower that was carrying victims down the stairs to the 78th floor lobby. He took control before the FDNY arrived , administering first aid and extinguishing small fires.....He Instructed all of the injured ."If you can stand up, do so now and assist those that are not standing" (Instant triage and a brilliant way to identify the seriously injured from the shocked and and marginally injured) and the young man went back up the stairs to retrieve more of the injured. After the second plane hit he was spotted carrying another injured victim down the stairs below and through and below the impact zone......and then back up he went.......nobody knew his name , but a few months later the NY Times printed and interview with several survivors from the South Tower and all they all talked about the "Man in the Red Bandanna" , they were praying he somehow survived.......when Welles mother read the article, she knew who it was.

In March of 2002 Welles body was found along with several firefighters in a command room of the south tower rubble, his body was found in tact, no signs of burns or other injuries...the NYC medical examiner concluded he was assisting the wounded as civilian usher as the building collapsed. In his apartment his parents and sisters found his nearly completed application to join the FDNY.......in 2006 Fire Commissioner Scopetta acknowledged Welles as an Honorary Firefighter. One of his signature Red Bandannas is on display at the 9/11  Musuem. Boston College keeps his memory alive with an annual Red Bandanna 5K, the football team dedicates one home game each year and wears red bandanna inspired uniforms with FOR WELLES in place of their names on the back of the jersey. i am sorry it took me so long to share this story, hopefully anyone that reads this already knows of his Heroics.

As i look around at the shithole NYC and this country have become, i can't help but think about the truly wonderful, Heroic, Funny, Brave, Upstanding members of our society we lost that day.....with a subtraction of so much greatness it's no wonder they left behind a black hole.

Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose
Nothin' ain't worth nothin' but it's freeFeelin' good was easy, Lord, when Bobby sang the bluesBuddy, that was good enough for meGood enough for me and Bobby McGee

Go out yonder

peace in the valleyCome downtown, have to rumble in the alley

Oh, you don't know the shape I'm in (the Band)

in 12 short hours we will gather at the Temple Bar in the rear courtyard of the Dublin House, on the shores of the Navasink River in Red Bank NJ. Brought together by cold beeeer, comradery and the music of the BAND. We were all lucky to grow up in a rare period of time that was blessed with some of the greatest music the planet has ever enjoyed. I am not even swimming in hyperbole to say that. The era of Rock n Roll bands is surely over , the only pulse of that time is from carryover acts in their 80's like the Stones.

The music of the 1960's through the late 90's was so good and so plentiful that it has inspired cover acts to recapture the glory still today. The Boomers and Gen X have that incredible music in the fabric of our lives and it is a soundtrack to live by. I feel sorry for the kids of today , they were denied the opportunity to see the Dead, Stones, the Who, Pink Floyd, the Eagles, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Led Zepplin, Elvis Costello, the Talking Heads and the Clash......all in the same summer.....and a thousand other bands besides.....

I am just counting my lucky stars today and waxing poetic for a time gone bye , tonight we listen to the music of the Band and drift back to 73rd street and 3rd Avenue.

they took all the trees

put 'em in a tree museum.

And they charged the people a dollar an' a half just to see 'em (Joni Mitchell)

from the theatre of the absurd comes congestion pricing part 2 thousand.
It takes a lot for me to spit out my morning coffee....shootings, stabbings, raping's, murders..... hurricanes, earthquakes, Tsunamis, Fires.....all far too commonplace to register a raised eyebrow these days.

This morning i heard something that forced me to rewind the TV to the beginning of the story, for surely i either misheard the interviewer or i was confused as to whom was being interviewed......nope....i heard it correct.

The Head of the Port Authority Union said that Congestion Pricing was UNFAIR to his members because some of them have to arrive at work , or end their shift ; in the middle of the night.....and Public transportation was NOT a viable option........take a deep breath......the head of the union that runs the PATH said that Public transportation is not a viable option after the evening rush......last time i checked the PATH runs 24 hours a day between Newark and the World Trade Center (albeit very sparingly after 1:00 a.m.) and it was PATH themselves that decided to suspend service after midnight on the Hoboken to 33rd street line ( who's fault is that)?

Even still.....up until now if a regular slob complained about the sketchy , inconsistent and unsafe service on PATH after midnight....he was politely told to GO FUCK him or herself.....but now because the MTA is going to charge 2 arms and 3 legs to drive into manhattan, well we are told that the Port Authority Union is the real true victim.

so we can surely expect that the Port Authority Union will soon join the list of people/groups exempt from Congestion pricing.....along with Cops, Fire, Sanitation, Transgendered Hispanics, illiterate blacks, radical moslems and anyone who claims to be coming into NYC daily just to visit the Holocaust Museum.

who's left ?  the evil white male of course.

NYC is also testing a pilot program on the upper east side.....noise activated cameras to catch and fine noise polluters.....the community is excited to welcome this new program of big brother spying and taxation through fines, punishment and shame......no official word on who will be exempt but I am sure all the Motorcycle trikes that terrorize the rest of the city will in line for immunity.

Can't wait until this backfires and an eventual moslem mayor uses these same cameras against the self loathsome heebs that helped install them. the only problem with history is that it takes so long for the pendelum to swing.....but swing it will.....swing it will......until then 2+3=Beeer

we were watching the news the other night and there was an in depth story about brain surgeons saving valuable time by feeding symtoms into a computer realtime during a biopsy and relying on A.I to suggest a diagnosis..........can't wait until the autopilot brain surgeon suggests that 2+3=Beeeer

headin out to San Francisco

For the Labor Day weekend show

I got my Hush Puppies onI guess I never was meant for glitter rock 'n' roll ( Jimmy Buffet)

and so 45 years after that song was released, on another Labor Day weekend; Jimmy Buffet has taken his leave at the age of "76"....some would say that 76 is good age to die......as long as your last few months are enjoyable...as long as you can walk to the corner to pickup a coffee, an egg sandwhich and the NY Post, as long as you can enjoy the great outdoors with a cold beer and a jumpin tune........as soon as those things are taken from me.....well i too will take my leave.

Jimmy was an admirable character.....true to his image and he never changed his stripes. He was born on Christmas Day 1946 in the shipbuilding town of Pacgagoula Mississippi on the gulf of Mexico. I was fortunate to call Pascagoula home for 6 months in the spring of 1989. I fondly recall drinking in a laundromat called SUDS & BREWS.....a long bar on one wall....and washers and dryers on the other wall.......we drank ice cold bottles of DIXIE beer for $1.75 ......washed our uniforms and civilian clothes, and we watched Chris Jackson and the LSU tigers take on the likes of Dwayne Schintzuis and the Fla Gators on BIG Monday SEC basketball on local redneck tv  before ESPN ruined the world.......perhaps i digress.

Jimmy Buffet was a profound drinker and he wrote songs to tell us all about it.....he had a happy vibe.....it was impossible to be angry if his music was in the vicinity.......imagine a movie where a serial killer goes around slaughtering people while listening to Margaritaville ? it just wouldn't work.

In the early 70's he was playing his "country" music in the bars of New Orleans and Nashville when fellow musician and friend Jerry Jeff Walker took him to Key West for the weekend.......well.....salt meet pepper......if ever there was a match made in heaven this was it.....for the next 50 years his painted a beautiful portrait of this paradise....it is impossible to think of Key West without thinking about a Jimmy song

he had a great talent, his writing could make you laugh or smile and also bring a tear to your eye...sometimes in the same song.....sometimes in the same verse....and even the same line. He leaves a legacy behind that will not go anywhere soon, i think his music and message transcends generations and has a core value that most human beings can connect with (except moslems who don't drink...because after all the one true God wants us to be miserable and kill goats)  I was lucky enough to see him live , and it was fun to see parents and adult children singing along to his music and enjoying a cocktail and a laugh. He will be missed , but if you live anywhere near the ocean, the memories of him are everywhere if you look for them....after all there's Booze in the Blender.....2+3=Beeer

Haul the sheet in as we ride on the windThat our forefathers harnessed before usHear the bells ring as the tight rigging singsIt's a son of a gun of a chorus

can't you hear that rooster crowin ?

Rabbit runnin’ down across the road
Underneath the bridge where the water flowed through
So happy just to see you smile

Underneath the sky of blue  (Dylan)

This evening under the bright lights of Aviva Stadium in Dublin,Ireland... a new chapter in United States Naval Academy Football is born. The oddsmakers have the squids as 20 1/2 point underdogs.....i think Navy not only covers, but could win the game outright.

My reasons for believing are as follows:

Our new Head Coach was an internal promotion, Coach Newberry was a well liked Defensive Coordinator under coach Ken and i think his transition will be an easy one.

Because of his defensive background i fully suspect a good defensive minded game plan and a close game.

Our offense was getting boring and predictable.....the triple threat option was gradually replaced by a run pass option....the problem with that is our passing game does not force defenses to respect that option....so basically every play was a QB keeper left or right......no more pitches to far outside. I am optimistic that the offensive will return to a form of the triple threat with a big bruiser back that can get you 3 or 4 yards up the middle every down......keep those D Lineman honest and force them to respect the dive into the line.

At QB we have a two headed monster....Tai Lavatai is a better drop back passer, but Xavier Airline is a better runner......these two seniors have 5 Freshman QB's listed behind them on the depth chart....i am anxious to see what the offense looks like....but i am also optimistic.

Our Defense came on strong last year and has had some big games against top notch teams in our Conference..playing ranked teams like Cincy, Memphis, UCF the past few years has really helped when we go up agaisnt a "supposed " power team like ND.......truth is, we have seen and played against better teams than them.

as for ND.....they have a 2nd year defensive minded coach that inherited Brian Kelly's offense....then he lost his O.C in Tommy Rees......so they promoted the O line coach to Coordinator......and went outside to find a new O Line coach......not a lot of experience in that coaching room......nobody sb surprised if they spent some extra time at the Temple Bar and when they were studying films....well they were probably focusing on upcoming games vs Ohio State and USC as opposed to Navy.....and if they studied last years Navy Films, they were watching ancient history.

Not a lot of experience in the locker room, they lost a lot of guys to the NFL as always...including the focus of their 2022 offense in tight End Mayer....we shall see.

lets face it....ND is bigger, stronger, faster and on paper much better......but the game is being played on grass not paper......last year ND was 3-3 before a strong finish.....i don't think anyone in South Bend or Las Vegas  is taking the squids seriuosly . If we can run the ball and play our bend but don't break defense it sb a close competitive game........Navy 3    ND 42   and of course  2+3= Beeer

Can’t you feel that sun a-shinin’?
Groundhog runnin’ by the country stream
This must be the day that all of my dreams come true
So happy just to be alive

every step of the way

 we walk the line

Your days are numbered, so are mine

Time is pilin’ up, we struggle and we scrape

We’re all boxed in, nowhere to escape  (Dylan)

yesterday we had a strange occurrence in the desert, still not sure what happened.....i was locked out of the blog on the home computer, some of my older posts i was told were flagged for inappropriate speech and a warning label was placed ahead of them,  and i was not able to create any new material.

i had to be in the office yesterday, (Yes, even dogs occasionally have to be in the office)  so i tried on my cell phone on train and originally i was blocked there too.....i had to double and triple prove my identity.....they sent me passcode texts and emails that i had to access and acknowlege....at first i was concerned....clearly this was the FBI building a case against me....but then i recd an email from President Trump....he is selling coffee mugs and T-shirts with his "central Booking" photo and the Caption "NEVER SURRENDER" .....and i remembered my High Schools Motto...."The truth shall set you free" and i have never chopped down a cherry tree or admitted to telling a lie.....i have had a few cherry ciders...they are delicious, and every night i lie....my head on the pillow and take my weary rest.......so you see as clear as day that 2+3= Beeer ...........fuk the govt, fuk the fbi, and Fuk Jo Biden.

I don't want to shout

But while we were talking, I saw you nodding out (The Clash)

If you are like me, you are probably tired of calling out hypocrisy, but life in 2023 carries an unbearable burden . the double talk and contradictions are tiring.....where should we begin this day.

Just a few miles from here in Middletown Nj there is battle playing out between parents and the School/State. In Bucktooth Murphy's own backyard no less. Seems the Parents are requesting to be notified if their child asks to change their gender in the classroom. So if little Susie cumquat decides she wants to be known as Sam Sam the Biker Man......well the Mom & Dad wish to be alerted to this obvious case of mental illness. Murphy and his Minions think otherwise.

spoiler alert.... here is where the 500-pound gorilla of hypocrisy arises.

In the state’s lawsuit, Platkin stated that "outing" of transgender, gender-nonconforming and non-binary students poses "serious mental health risks; threatens physical harm to students, including increased risk of suicide; and shirks the district's duty to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all."

Um , excuse me....but this past June and every other fuckin June since as long as i can remember we have had  to suffer an onslaught of PRIDE events.....every commercial....every sporting event, every parade or TV program is jam packed with rainbow flags honoring the LGBTLMNOPQ community....every normal kid is shamed for NOT being a part of this homo lifestyle....Heather has 2 Mommies and Jose's Dad is Queer.....give me a break.......and now we are supposed to also accept that by "OUTING" someone ( their word not mine) we are increasing their risk of suicide.........Bullshit.....they have No problem shoving their pro homo lifestyle down a childs throat but are scared straight by the thought of these same kids hearing the other side of the argument.........they think it's OK for a little Boy to wear a dress and call himself Sally....BUT if Mom and Dad know about this perfectly normal lifestyle it could lead to a mental health crisis........that's like calling the fire Dept today on Maui to report a downed power line......the damage is done.....telling the Parents can only help and will not do further harm to these poor misguided little tykes. If homsexuality and transgenderism are sooo wonderful...if the alphabet soup community is something to be so proud of, then why are we afraid to let these truths see the light of day....why don't the teachers phone home and share the good news with Mom & Dad ? because just like the pedophiles they are, they tell their victim to keep this little secret...just between us......sickening.

Gov Murphy and his administration filed 3 "emergency" lawsuits to protect the pedophile proving grounds from having to tell the parents what the kids are up to. We know this Gov is a Wall Street crook but how deep does his self-hatred run? is this a peace offering to his homo friends at Goldman Sachs that spend millions grooming the next generation of sexual deviants? Is he getting ready to get on his knees for them and beg for the $$ to make a run at the White House? He's and old man , does he have no fear of dying and facing the one true judge?  all the backroom ballots in the world can't save you in the afterlife Phil....i know your jew partners at Goldman don't believe in Hell, but you once did....begs the question, what the HELL happened to you ?

London calling, yes, I was there, tooAnd you know what they said? Well, some of it was trueLondon calling at the top of the dialAnd after all this, won't you give me a smile?

They're selling postcards of the hanging

 They’re painting the passports brown

The beauty parlor is filled with sailors
The circus is in town  (Dylan)

sometimes this world feels like i am watching a train collision about to happen....in slow motion....and we ask ourselves "if we can see it so clearly, why can't they? " The only answer i can come up with is that they do see it, but they want it to happen for some alterior motive.

NYC is moving ahead with their plans to tax people for entering the island of Manhattan in a private vehicle. This is in addition to the regular tolls/Taxes paid for coming across the GW or the Holland, Lincoln, or Battery (Fuck Hugh Carey, it will always be the battery) tunnels. In some cases, during the peak daytime hours; that tax is as high as $26.

Make no mistake about it, this Congestion pricing will certainly turn the crossroads of the Universe into Desolation Row.

I saw some Sally Jewbroad holding a rally at city Hall yesterday screaming into a Bullhorn about this will save the environment by reducing the # of cars and at the same time provide much needed funding for Mass Transit......well, it can't do both.......if it does force all of these drivers to take the train...well then there will be no revenue raised through congestion pricing to go towards Mass transit......but hey , why let facts ruin a Thursday afternoon protest.
She went on screaming about increased Bike Lanes and faster bus service....i was waiting for her to say that all the people that continued to drive should be forced to wear a Yellow Star on their clothing like the Jews in Nazi Germany.
Of course the unintended (or perhaps intended) consequence is that if your plan is successful and you force people to STOP driving into Manhattan....there is no guarantee that they will take mass transit. After all,  it is a crime ridden toilet bowl of an island that stenches of marijuana, and maybe , just maybe, some of the folks from the outer boroughs and New Jersey will say thanks but no thanks..... wanna go see a play ? no thanks
wanna go see the Rangers ? no thanks
wanna meet in midtown for drinks ? no thanks

There already is a revolt happening in the business communities post pandemic....the workers do NOT want to return to the office today......how about in a few months when they will either have to take NJT, LIRR and or the subway or spend half their checks on tolls....how is that going to play out. If you don't think that major corporations are at least having discussions about leaving Manhattan, then you are naive.
Nothing happens overnight (except maybe packing a cooler) but this is definitely a game of Dominos...and when they start to fall they take everyone with them. And when the Exodus begins and more of the storefronts become vacant, and tax revenues shrivel up and die on the vine, and the streets and subways are like ghost towns....what happens then ? don't think too hard, just take a look at San Francisco.      2+3=Beeer

And the only sound that’s left
After the ambulances go
Is Cinderella sweeping up
On Desolation Row

because a vision softly creeping

Left its seeds while I was sleeping

And the vision that was planted in my brainStill remainsWithin the sound of silence ( Simon & Garfunkel)

remember the crazy hot chick that demanded to be let off the plane in Ft Worth before takeoff because the person/thing in the back of the plane was not real?  She then disappeared and the only reason anyone searched for her was because she was a smoke show.....and an interesting one at that.

The airline said she was apprehended at the gate by TSA security....LIE.......airport security has no record for her.

Then they said she was actually taken into custody by local authorities and was ticketed and fined, but they did not know her name.......LIE......Ft Worth Police said they were not there and did not arrest anyone.

Suddenly ....2 weeks after the incident a name was leaked on social media......Tiffany Gomes, a local advertising exec....pics of her supposed million-dollar home were released on social media.....and just yesterday an Instagram acct popped up with a lady that vaguely resembles the airline passenger with a video apology for using profanity, but no mention of the incident that prompted her early exit or what exactly she saw at the back of the plane.

i can't say what really happened.....not because i am sworn to secrecy by the Sweater Nite bylaws, but vecause i honestly do not know. My Guess is that the original lady was captured and silenced by the Govt-FBI- DOJ because of what she learnt on that plane and she now sleeps with the Fishes in the Trinity River....probably with JFK's real killers.
And Tiffany Gomes was paid a handsome sum of money to impersonate miss hottie and put out a stupid video to end the inquiry.
but hey , what do i know ? besides 2+3= Beer

on my way to Queens today for a final visit to Citifield and to say Goodbye to my beloved Mets.....I will sit in the stands with my complimentary Max Sherzer sunglass giveaway and sip on my $20 can of Coors Light and reflect on all the good times i had rooting for my Miracle Mets.....I'll think about Dano and Tom Daley and the Gary Carter HR on opening day.......and thousands of other games besides, and i will probably shed a tear behind my new sunglasses ( assuming i am one of the first 15,000 through the turnstiles)

And the sign said, "The words of the prophetsAre written on the subway wallsAnd tenement hallsAnd whispered in the sounds of silence"

layin around making butter for the cream

I know that we seen each other in a dream

My heart starts yearnin' when I'm all alone

So keep on churnin' till the cows come home. ( Ozark Mountain Daredevils)

well well well.....it seems the top cow at the annual Wisconsin State Fair this past week is named "JIGGABOO" , and now the natives are restless.

The Whisky State Fair board has apologized to people of color for a cow being named after a racial slur, and none of the judges seeming to care or notice.

They even went so far as to change the cows name against his will.....in the official books and records of the fair ( who knew that was a thing) the winner will be recorded as "Puzzle", with no mention of jiggaboo.

when reached for comment Jiggaboo said " it must be a slow MOOOOS day for this to be a top story"

and when reached for comment, Mr Macnab from All in the family said "Two Jiggaboos just robbed Hendersons jewelers "

Truth is i was most excited to get the Ozark Mountain Dardevils into the opening quote.....

oh well   2+3=Beeer

2+3=Beeeer

Keep on churnin'

Reach for the sun

 catch hold of the moon
They're both too heavy but what can you do?
Reach for the stars, smack into the sky
You don't want to live but you're chicken to die

Oh, you're chicken to die (Hunter-Garcia)

sometimes it feels as though i have rounded that final turn and i am heading to the wire, but instead of Secretariat , i feel like Smarty Jones. Instead of cruising with a 29-length lead and enjoying the home stretch .......i am like Smarty....in a dog fight.....i try firing all pistons but get no response......the tank is empty and the sound of the air escaping silences the crowd as the rest of the field flies by.  i am limping to the finish line, i'll get there, but i have nothing left in the tank.

Run for the money, caught short on the rent
Big ideas but the cash's all spent

No, you don't want the race

Tin soldiers and Nixon coming

 We're finally on our own

This summer I hear the drummin'Four dead in Ohio (N. Young)

and now there's one dead in Provo.

as i sit here taking dictation from my very wise dog Matteau Matteau , i reminded him to choose those words carefully. We don't want to end up like Craig Robertson.

Craig Robertson supposedly make some jokes that the FBI said were threats against Dementia Joe and the Kamal Ho. They showed up at his home to "arrest" him and he ended up Dead. Whatever they say happened i no longer believe, and that's a terrible shame that it has come to this....but the truth is they lie. They have lied to the American people over and over again, so why should we believe them now?

this ship will not right itself in my lifetime...and maybe never......maybe democracy is a failed experiment....maybe man can not live in peace with his fellow man as equals......maybe mans desire to conquer and control, to kill or enslave his fellow man is to great to allow freedom to ring for too long......does America see 250 ?  probably.......does America see 300 ?  i doubt it..........2+3+Beeer  ( i hope they don't take any of this as a threat, but if they do....we are unarmed.....i have never owned a gun or any weapons in my life....the only weapons of mass destruction i have is a fully stocked Beeer fridge in the garage.

Gotta get down to itSoldiers are gunning us downShould have been done long ago

Pretty woman

 walkin' down the street

Pretty woman the kind I like to meet (Roy Orbison)

a glorious Sunday morning.....those filthy unpatriotic lesbians lost to the Prettier Team, and really that's all you can hope for when forced to watch womans sports anyway.

The Beautiful young ladies from Sweeden beat the self-absorbed, self-loathsome, purple haired woke communistas from Dykesville USgay.

the only way this day can get better would be if their plane disappears off radar on the way back to America.

Pretty woman I don't believe you, you're not the truthNo one could look as good as you, mercy

All we need is music

 sweet music

There'll be music everywhereThere'll be swingin', swayin' and records playingAnd dancing in the street  (Marvin Gaye)

why do most Americans distrust the media ? too many examples to  list them all , but basically "everything" they report is first shaped , molded to fit their narrative before it hits tha air...and that includes omission. We have all noticed how years ago they stopped reporting the race of the criminal so as not to let the facts form an opinion on a particular class of people committing all these crimes. "Police are looking for a male approx 5 foot ten inches tall wearing a navy hoodie".....yep, that narrows it down....but now they omit facts and details from their top stories because ? well just because.

Saturday night a black gay dancer named Oshea Sibley was dancing in a gas station in the Midwood section of Brooklyn when they were accosted by a group of teenagers. An argument ensued and Sibley was stabbed to death. The news tripped over themselves in a rush to report the story because his friends said the killers used homophobic slurs and that this was a hate crime against the LGBTQLMNOP community.

And then the reporting took a left turn......very little was said about the suspect and or the OTHER things that he and his friends said to the gay dancers. Despite the Gas station worker telling them exactly what started the altercation and who the suspect was....the media no longer cared.......instead the focus was about a Gay Hero who was dancing to a Beyonce song and how the dance community of harlem was in mourning....but who killed him ?   "Police are looking for a 17 year old suspect"  was all they would say.

dig a little deeper...that is what i do to keep my Sweater Nite friends informed.....when the free world is sleeping peacefully in their beds i am diligently searching Al Gores world wide web to find some answers.

Turns out stymie and his friends pulled up to the Gas station shirtless and barefoot and started an all male dance party to one of Beyonce songs that was blaring from their car stereo.  A group of Middle Eastern teenagers came out of the gas station store and told them to stop.

"We are muslim and we are offended by you faggots dancing" was the exact quote the store owner gave the Police.......the teens continued to berate the dancers with Homo and racial slurs.

This truth was too explosive for NBC -CBS to include in their report....if only the stabber was a white male construction worker that hated Queen Bee. If only we had a group of white Hooligans to pin this on we could run the story all day.......show pictures of their homes and shame their families and friends.

But muslims ? our peaceful religion friends ? we can't report this......Muslims ? the same ones that would behead you if you did not join their religion.....Muslims? the group that has no tolerance for anyone else on the planet and even has zero tolerance towards the non radical members of their own religion......Muslims ? no way we can shine a light on their hatred for homos.....it goes against the narrative.

2+3 = Beeer      sing it Martha

It's just an invitation across the nationA chance for folks to meetThere'll be laughing, singing and music swingingDancing in the street

that Sheriff yelled as he cleared his throat

Said come on you dirty hackin' to the district court

Into the courtroom my trial began
Where I was judged by twelve honest men ( Gary Davis / George Thorogood)

well we know that President Trump will not get a fair trial by a DC jury or the media.....but he should be working with his lawyers to put on the trial of the century that even ABC news will not be able to ignore.
In the most recent indictment, they stated that Trump was responsible for the Jan 6 protests because he incited the crowd with false statements about the election. This to me is the biggest Pandora box in history, this opens the door, this puts everything and everyone ON the table.....this is an opportunity to call every crooked, thieving member of the Democratic machine onto the stand....in front of the whole world.....under oath....and force them to say what they knew about shady election practices.
Call Hillary to the stand
Call Greasy Wasserman Seargant Schultz
Call Joe, Jill and Hunter
Call Bernie Sanders
Call each and everyone of them and force them to
Lie, tell the truth, or take the fifth........but if they take the fifth, how can a jury accept the govt assertions, when the Govt isn't willing to confirm those assertions under oath.
Trump may never win the Presidency again....but he has an oppurtunity to strike a blow against the empire that will reverberate for years.
How can ABC talk about the weather if Hillary takes the stand and denies that Wasserman gave her the answers to the Democratic debates ? and if they do......i think even some of the biggest Trump haters in the country will have to silently admit, behind closed doors and hopefully behind the voting booth curtain; that this is all rigged.
even cnn will have to eventually admit that 2+3= Beeer
