i wasn't ready for the anxiety this time.......a feeling of sorrow and a gut punch of being homesick .

This week for the first time...i will observe a September 11th anniversary outside my safe space in the garden State....i will not get to sit outside my garage on Edgewood  with a fire on the evening of the 10th.....and listen to the spirits rustling through the trees as they arrive......I will not get to raise a glass at Donnavans Reef or walk the seawall in Seabright or the boardwalk in Asbury Park or Spring Lake........i won't be at Off the Hook to see the Twin Lights of remembrance or Martells Tiki Bar ....I won't even have a somber afternoon beer in Brannigans with the rest of the lost souls band...

Honestly....i don't have a plan.....i'm lost, slightly.....i will find the ocean, and i will stare at it most of the day...i just hope the ghosts can find me......i will listen to my tunes......but it will hurt to NOT be in the Metropolitan area this year......i deliberately pushed my trip north  back 2 weeks because i was afraid of emotional overload....i didn't want to retire to close to the 11th ....a wise move.......but today....i wish i was there......i don't know what to expect down here in the south.....so far away from new york city......both a blessing and a curse.

yep, i smell a rat........Mandhani won the primary because the voter turnout was low, and few people were paying attention........most of NY, especially the women: were disgusted with Cuomo and indifferent towards Adams........the general election will be different......NOW everybody in the country is paying attention.......mandhani needs to distract people from his policies....distance himself from his own radical/socialist agenda, and somehow make this a rallying cry for the far left Trump haters.

In steps the NY Times......suddenly flooding the waters with stories about the Trump Administration injecting themselves into the race........supporting evil Andrew Cuomo over their own nominee (Sliwa) and the sitting Mayor who has cooperated with their immigration policy (Adams).

The Times is quoting anonymous sources (here we go again) that insist that Trump is offering jobs in his administration to Sliwa and Adams if they drop out and support Cuomo...........i smell BS.

I think this is a desperate attempt to make the race about the poor underdog (mandhani) against the big powerful political machine (Trump-Cuomo and other nefarious characters)......just another case of the evil orange man sending in troops to control the city....just like DC, LA, and Chicongo. the left loves to paint themselves as martyrs, casting a stone against Tyranny.....and the New York Times is more then happy to construct the narrative.

speaking of Trump and Crime........can you imagine if he sent the National guard into Florida, Texas or any other Red State......can you imagine if he made the Metropolitan area the focus of his crackdown on crime ? or if he wanted to protect the white suburbs of any state ?

well the left would be crying that all he wants to do is protect his own assets ( Mar a Lago, Bedminster or any of his hotels) and that this all just doing favors for his Republican friends and using Federal $$ and troops to preserve and protect white utopias....... .....yep, he is dammed if he does and dammed if he doesn't........instead he is sending help to the bluest staes and cities to help the blackest people and save them from their elected leaders.....racist bastardo
