well, i spent a nice few days eating and drinking like a pirate , watching College Football and Hockey and counting my blessings......but no more hiding, it's time to get back to work.

First and foremost....we expect a significant Sweater Nite 28 development and subsequent announcement in the week ahead....stay tuned.

so 6 members of the demonrat caucus created a video urging the United States Military to defy unlawful orders........imagine for a second that it was the Republicans that orchestrated this stunt during the auto-pen era with a vegetable as commander in Chief ?  Imagine if they drew the worlds attention to the obvious fact that Joe biden was in mental decline and could not possibly be the one issuing orders....well it would have made January 6th look like a PTA meeting..........but i digress.........back to the video.....the participants in this video all had military or intelligence community backgrounds...so they knew exactly what they were doing........I heard some media voices on the right complaining that they did not specify "which" orders were illegal.......that was by design....this was carefully planned with legal teams to protect the speakers from repercussions.....just a generic public safety announcement.....no specifics..........but they are hoping to strike a nerve with some within the military community .....let's be honest....we have a lot of lose cannons in a volunteer military force....some were nuts when they signed up....others were driven crazy by shipmates or the harsh, extreme experiences of serving .......some joined for the wrong reasons and now hate their chain of command.......so let's speak directly but ambiguously to those wackos and hope one of them turns their guns on their superiors.....anything at any level to throw a wrench into the Trump Administration......just like russia gate and the other distractions.............but i wonder if Mark Kelly and the other concerned members of the democrat party  supported the Military members that refused the since rescinded mandate to get the untested Covid 19 vaccine.......silly question, they did NOT........so Lloyd Austin issued a mandate in 2021.....and 2 years later after the damage was done, he rescinded his mandate.......begs the question, what exactly is a lawful order ? and more importantly, do we want soldiers in the field debating amongst themselves and further dividing the country ?  well, we know which party wants that exact scenario to play out.

speaking of the military.....The Naval Academy Football team ended their season in a 3 way tie for the American Conf Championship.........but because of tie breakers, they will not be playing in the title game......they lost the tiebreaker with North Texas because of a regular season loss head to head...understood....but they lost the tiebreaker to Tulane because Tulane is higher ranked in the CFP rankings.....not sure why.......Navy has 2 losses.......#9 Ranked Notre Dame at South Bend....and at Conf C0-champ 11-1 North Texas.........Tulane has 2 losses..... #6 Ole Miss at Oxford....and a bad loss to 6-6 UTSA.......I think the squids lost the popularity contest.......a shame for the kids, but now they can get busy preparing for America's Game against Army in Baltimore on Dec 13th.

Hockey note....although i firmly believe that the Rangers should trade the russian Goalie....i no longer believe that Chris Drury is an adequate judge of talent......so i hope he doesn't trade Shesterkin because we will probably get ripped off.....get a real GM in there first , then unload that ridiculous salary, use the savings to sign 3 or 4 grinders for the 3rd and 4th lines and maybe even a tier 2 free agent in the offseason....but what do i know.
