It broke my heart to learn that the Lief was closed for good , just a few hours after the letters were handed over to our carrier pigeons ( SC finest) .....to many memories of the Lief to rush a eulogy....i will take time and gather my thoughts and put something out soon.......but for now.

we're going bank to Hanks Place...i mean Imbiberie Pub....I mean Musketeers ......no, no, no.....PC's bar and grille....the Mahogany that Mike Dooney made famous....the home of Brenden Murph's Skidder awards.....( 2x winner for Skid incident) and with the passing of Schnitzel and the Liev , perhaps the lone watering hole North of Bay Ridge Parkway on 5th......sad days.

stay tuned for the pregame skate announcement.......possibly the Bean Post.....possibly Salty....possibly an early BBQ at Jimmy Hollands House....feel free to cast a vote as i no longer have my finger on the pulse of 11209 watering holes and Sunday morning bartenders........but in any event, Sweater Nite 28 is a GO for Sunday February 15th.......2:00 at PC's........USA-Germany at 3:00.....possible live set by the unplugged Ramblers of Mac & JC.........and one square pie for the foodies.....and as much ICE as you like.

Poor Matteau keeps checking and rechecking his spelling and Grammar.....He knows Prof O'Mara is reading the Blog this week.....
