parting is such sweet sorrow

it is with a great deal of sadness that i must pass on the news that the final souvenier from the great Raids on Montreal~ has died.........the ashtray from the Maritime Hotel, a true fan favorite from the outdoor bar at Club Gato is no longer with us.........her passing was a swift as it was shocking.....one moment she was resting on the ledge of the Bar while Val and I shared a Beer watching the Rangers......and the next minute she  lay shattered in a million pieces on the patio....we arent sure if she took her own life and leapt off the bar to her death...or perhaps was startled by a Barking Dog who will forever remain nameless....but the fact is ....SHE IS GONE........a little piece of my past died with that ashtray...........perhaps its a sign from the Gods of Alcohol Abuse that it is time to return to the aforementioned Maritime Hotel ??

welcome back to the annual derby rant.....a runon paragraph of nonsensible material incorporating all the horsies and arriving at the winner.

DANZA  i screamed to nobody in particular as i awoke from the party with a brutal hangover......i think the VICARS IN TROUBLE, and how could he not be after that INTENSE HOLIDAY.....not just any party mind you, but HARRY'S HOLIDAY.........I sure hope UNCLE SIGH got home okay after takin that RIDE ON CURLIN.....I knew we were in trouble when GENERAL A ROD decided it was time to TAPITURE that fresh Keg at 3:00 a.m..........CHITU ! i screamed...those Brews were WICKED STRONG.....a mans brew, certainly not meant for a CANDY BOY.....it was a good thing we chased them down with shots of WILDCAT RED before the big wiffle ball game.....VINCEREMOS had great control of his COMMANDING CURVE in that strong breeze off the coast of PABLO DEL MONTE.....i am not even sure what the MEDAL COUNT was , but they were made of beautiful CALIFORNIA CHROME.....as the game came to a conclusion in extra innings it was apparent to all just how much WE MISS ARTIE....but the moral is when you DANCE WITH FATE it ultimately lead you to the promised land of SAMRAAT.

and that boys and girls is where every fukin dollar you can swindle out of donald sterling sb spent this glorious first saturday in May.....squarely on the nose of NY Bred SAMRAAT....long live the King.

The NBA is making a huge mistake if the 29 owners "force" sterling to sell......we live in a free & capitalist society..... You don't have to like Donald sterling and he doesn't have to like you.....he has broken no laws....unlike the multitude of players that routinely assault wives n girlfriends.... Drive under the influence and are arrested for weapons and narcotic possessions and get s mete slap on the wrist or maybe a suspension....... There are available means to persuade sterling to sell the team........sponsors can cancel relationships...... Free agents can sign elsewhere and fans can choose not to attend their games......but to force him to sell sets an uneasy precedent........ Who's next ?  Boston or Phoenix need a regime change because they draft too many white guys ?.......Utah has to sell to someone willing to relocate the team cause we don't like Mormon values ? .......jay zee gotta sell cause he uses the N word ?........where does it end ? I understand the argument that sterling is hurting the image and thus value of the league.....but I reject it....the only team sterling is hurting is the clippers.... And that alone could prompt him to sell on his own......to be fair...he must be a shrewd businessman to acrue such wealth n power.....I doubt he will hold on to a dwindling asset out of spite.

I hope even a small % of the folks who were outraged by Donald Sterling comments are at least slightly perturbed by the Rutgers student body labeling Condoleeza Rice a war criminal and protesteing her scheduled speech at their upcoming graduation..... As a black female and former Secretary of State you would think she qualifies as A role model and double minority.......but maybe blacks don't want their daughters to aspire to such greatness....... Maybe there OK with them being Jayzee "bitches and Ho's"...... I would say that bothers me.....but I'd be lying....you go girl..........maybe the NAACP can giver her the award they were prepared to give sterling...lol.......or maybe the national organization of women can take a break from attacking Kirsten Dunst to weigh in on this one......FAT Chance.
