The mainstream media got it all wrong last night.....Wilmer Flores did break down in tears while on the field during the Mets V Padres...... But he was crying because he heard his impending trade to the Brewers was SCRAPPED........ His "get out of Mets jail free card" had been revoked........ Poor Wilmer....... He's stuck with the miserable Mets like the rest of us.

Emotional Rescue

Forgive me if I am a little weepy today......but news of our supreme leader barry hussein visiting Kenya have made me nostalgic.

29 years ago this very week I was on my way back to Diego Garcia after a successful 15 days leave in Bayridge for the reopening of the Statue of Liberty......

There is no commercial airline permitted to serve Diego, so you have to fly in military aircraft..... Which means you sit parachute style along the walls of the plane with pallets of cargo....no windows...... And you have to ask permission to use the head.

My flight plan took me from Newark to Norfolk, to Banger Maine, to Rota Spain then to Siggonella Sicily and then to Nairobi.......5 flights over 30 plus hours....layovers as they unloaded and loaded pallets onto the plane....and we weren't allowed to get off.........upon arriving in Kenya we were told there was a problem with the plane and we had to disembark while it was fixed......we were in civilian clothes of course, but we were greeted by machine gun toting stymies and escorted to a private room in the airport..... Not allowed to mingle with the general public..... But they had a small service bar.....so I had a few quasi chilled bottles of "Tusker" beer....as the afternoon wore on, we were told they could not fix the plane until later that night.... And since the Kenyan military could not secure the runway after dark, we would have to spend the night. ( there was a civil war going on at the time. Isn't there always ? )

So.....the State Department picked the 8 passengers and 6 crew members up and took us to the Hilton.....we gad to share rooms....I can't remember my roommates name, but he was fm Oklahoma or Nebraska........ "Do not leave your rooms for any reason, you will be captured and taken hostage....order room service and we will be back to get you at 5:00 a.m."

Well......suffice to say that 18 seconds after the State Department left our room, I was in the next elevator...... I convinced my roommate to come downstairs for a drink in the lobby.....and then to hit a few other Hotel Bars on the strip....( I didn't want to get captured alone)......and so we drank our Tusker Beer and talked about College Football, and i imagined I was in the same watering holes as Hemingway in snows of Killiminjaro.....back from a wild game hunt where I shot a rhinoceros and 2 wilderbeast...... And the next morning we boarded our plane with machine gun escort and flew to Athens and finally Diego.

Who knows..... Maybe barry Hussein's dad was cooking the family dog for dinner in the hills by the airport..... Or in the kitchen of the Hilton for that matter.

Anyway....... Maybe he'll get caught in the crossfire of the civil war..... I'm sure it's still going on

He hit # 20 last night......still in July.......if he hits another 10 this year, he will only have to play 4 more years.....maybe 3......and average 20 a year.....he could break the record before his 43rd birthday....... By now it should be obvious to anyone and everyone that the obama administration sees Isreal as the bad guy in the never ending mideast saga......and its clear that they feel a moslem nation needs the "bomb" to balance the Jews and keep them honest.....I'd love to see them come out and admit that and open the debate....but to do so would cost them jewish votes at home....can't let that happen.

If your keeping score at home.....obama is okay lifting a weapons ban on Iran.....they are poised to purchase long range missile launchers with their billions we are about to unfreeze.......and this deal is sooooo good for the world that he has promised more military aid to Israel.... The likely first target of Iranian aggression....... So more weapons for everyone overseas...... But stricter gun control at home......a recipe for destruction.

Historians will look back and wonder if we all were stoned.

NJ Transit

when asked why they Board chose a fare increase instead of service cuts , Veronique Hakim stated that service cuts would have resulted in 1,000 layoffs.......

so.....they are running an inefficient railroad.......they are loosing money on certain trains, lines etc etc.etc

but instead of addressing their failures and eliminating waste and unproductive service (night times, weekends, whatever).......they will just go ahead and raise rates again..........good for those 1,000 NJT employees.....not so good for your riders.

Parade Day in the city

No...they arent throwing a parade for the Mets for being over .500 at the all-star break...but they should.

seriously....first let me state that I love the US Womens Natl Soccer team....they are good , and they're pretty hot....not all that butched-up like previous years...these gals are stunners.

secondly....i fully support and embrace the idea of throwing them a ticker-tape parade down the canyon of Heroes....they deserve this spotlight.

my problems lie with the politicians and media jerkoffs that ruin everything......

first, why are there Floats for the Red Bulls and NY Futbol Club ?   2 mens teams that are professionals and happen to play in the tri-state .....why is this becoming national soccer day ? money, money, MONEY....sad.....

next deblasio......he stated to the effect that this team represents want women can accomplish and what needs to change in society..........wrong on every level..........they won a womens tournament......someone had to win....there were no mens teams in the womens world cup this year, so WTF is he talking about......next, what needs to change in society ?   should women be limited to competing against each other , like the world cup....is that what he meant ?   womens only schools, and professions ? i'm lost.

the media today will undoubtedly twist a feel good moment into something that its not, they are already talking about equal pay for professional women soccer players compared to men....not sure why they can't focus on 23 girls that won an international championship and are beloved by their country.....isnt that a good enough story ?

Interesting times

So in the past few weeks while the debate over the Confederate FLAG, Gay marriage, the parade for the U.S. National Women's Team and the immigration status of the landscapers at Trumps golf courses has dominated the evening news .....a few interesting things have happened.

Did you know that the Chinese are building man made islands to be used as military installations in the South China Sea ? And that they have threatened anyone that gets to close with military action.

Did you know that Iran is insisting on a lift on the arms embargo as part of the nuclear treaty ? Yep...this peaceful nation of islam that only wants nuclear capability to make electricity , wants to be able to legally buy weapons from Russia as a giveback to signing a nuclear treaty........ A treaty they need to have economic sanctions lifted on them.....strange how they seem to be dictating terms.

Did you know that the Russians have doubled their troop buildup in the Ukraine ?

Did you know that on the 4th of July.... At the same time Putin was on the phone with obama, that 2 Russian bombers were flying off the coast of Alaska....and that the Air Force had to scramble two fighter Jets to warn them to stay out of our air space.

Did you know we reduced our active military force by 40,000 the other day ?

And of course yesterday..... At approximately the same time..... American airlines and the NYSE suffered,   so far ; unexplained  computer failures that grounded all flights and trading activity.

And where has barry been? Besides tweeting about the soccer game ?

If we are not under cyber attack from China, Russia or ISIS..... Or all 3........they are at least testing the waters for a future attack...... Perhaps one where our nuclear weapons are disabled just long enough to take us out........

Oh....who cares.....now back to our regularly scheduled distractions.

Hell no.......boycott Macy's, NBC and anyone else who is trying to silence a presidential candidate through financial bullying.....it may be a stretch to feel empathy for the Donald ( not Donn).....but he made a strong statement about illegal immigration..... Specifically about the types of people coming across the border fm Mexico.....the same people that obama wants to grant amnesty........ But he spoke the truth......some are rapists and drug dealers...... People that would not be granted legal immigration status...... He could have softened the message...... But if he did. It would not have made the evening news....and maybe he understands that it is time, as a nation. That we took our heads out of Kim Kardashians ass and paid attention.......... Or maybe he's a biggot.......... Point is..... In America today..... A straight white male better keep his mouth shut if he wants to run for president.... Or keep his day job.

I just read the NYPD blotter in the NY Post...the 3 bad guys pictured appear to be African Americans.....that's weird.

Sooooo.....I geuss after realizing that significant changes to gun control were not going to happen in the aftermath of the Charleston shootings, our friends on the liberal left have their sights set on the Confederate FLAG.....an imteresting debate could be had on the merits of the Rebel FLAG....what it originally stood for. What it has come to symbolize in the modern day.... I personally did not like seeing that FLAG in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama and other southern locals I frequented while serving in the Navy.....as a northerner in general and specifically a new Yorker..... I didn't feel welcome in some of the watering holes I stumbled into........ Imagine me NOT being welcome in a BAR ?

I do think a knee jerk reaction and attacking the flag for the acts of a misguided, loner. Mentally impaired looser are not the way to go.

I do think its worthy to discuss whether flying the Flag over the state capital could be considered treason, since it does represent an enemy combatant.... But there is no such outrage with Japenese company's displaying the "Rising sun" on our soil.

Heck, every nation we ever fought is free to display their colors at the U.N. except the Confederacy.

I hope we still live in a land of free speech and that states still have rights......if the people of South Carolina decide it's time to move on, then so be it.

So I would love to go on social media and start banging the drum for a conspiracy theory that states that the obama administration was behind the Charleston church shootings, to use this horrific incident to further push his anti-gun agenda.

Can you imagine the outrage ? The venom and vile that would be spewed my way ?

And yet these 9/11 truthers who Insist that planes did not hit the WTC, and that the Bush administration used dynamite to take down the towers........ They are given legitimacy and allowed to spread their bullshit without any public outrage or condemnation......... The liberal movement has torn apart a great nation in the 50 years that I've been a witness........ We now honor the transgendered for being courageous, but still allow our returning military to live in poverty and isolation..... You can burn the flag cause its free speech, but you can't say you dislike black people or voice an opinion if it is negative towards certain races, religions or creeds.......I worry where we'll be in another 50 years.........as for me ? I hope I'm sipping a margarita , listening to the Dead on a fluffy cloud with Christina Ricci.......ah, but I digress.

It's been 18 months since that filthy C++* Lynn Stewart was released from prison because she was dying from cancer anyday....what is it with these terrorists who get compassionate release.....they showed zero compassion to their fellow man, and yet we let them live out their days at home......or months and years in some cases......I at least hope she is in insufferable pain on a daily basis.

June 10th 1985 i took that long walk off a short pier.

I took that long walk from 554 76th street to 86th and 7th...the
United States Military recruitment center where i surrendered my freedom and my
life for the next 4 years. accompanied by Steve Mcevoy, Donn Hoffman and "Who Shot JR Ryan and the Rhine River".....as they drunkenly navigated 5th ave in the Monday morning dawn, i nervously strolled, secretly hoping for an earthquake or natural disaster that would delay my departure for the Great Lakes Bootcamp facility......as each street of my youth passed under my feet and immediately into a distant memory...my life was changing before my eyes....i had no idea what changes lay in store, but could sense they would be dramatic and swift , and i was right..........weddings, funerals, births , defections did rain from the skies onto bayridge in the 4 nomadic years i spent in the service of Uncle Sam....with each return trip i felt more detached and isolated on the gang plank of life.....sink or swim.....i dropped anchor for 10 years in Brooklyn upon my return to civilian life in 1989 , but it was never quite the same.....the buildings remained, but it was a like a bad movie sequel, they had B list actors playing the parts of your favorite characters......i will never forget that walk....and i am glad to say that even then on that very morning, 30 years ago tomorrow....I knew the Gravity of my actions.....i said goodbye to my pal Snoopy, and hello to the very special insanity that was the UNITED STATES NAVY !

Under Erdogans' leadership..... This NATO ally ( laughable contradiction) has denied the U.S. use of Turkeys airspace in the wars against IRAQ and ISIS , and has sent boats with weapons disguised as humanitarian aid to challenge Isreals blockade of GAZA.

Erdogan has been on a personal mission to erase national hero ATTA TURK from the history books and to discredit his contributions to Turkish Independence.

To sum it up , this is a west & democracy hating scumbag and a very dangerous man.... No surprise he is pals with Barry Hussein Obama.

With 99% reporting......Erdogans' party AKP , is going to fall way short of a majority.... Instead of the 400 seats he hoped for, they will only control approximately 265.
