Positively ridiculous to try and pick a Derby 🐎 horse while still in the frigid month of January, but here goes anyway......BOURBON WAR is on my radar...if IRad Jr keeps riding him and he has a good run in his next prep (3:2 FOY) then he may become my pick for the first Saturday in May.

I ran into the fortune teller

Who said beware of lightning that might strike.......25 years ago last night....@ Madison Square Garden, the future was told and it wasn’t madam Marie.....the NHL all-star was held at the Worlds Most Famous arena....the first place Rangers were represented by Misters Messier, Leetch, Graves and of course Michael Richter....the game was a River Hockey shootout and st one moment the games most exciting and arguably best player found himself all alone at center ice with the puck for a an easy break away goal.....the Russian Rocket; Patel Bure, was flying in on net with nobody to stop him .....nobody that is except Mr Richter....the Garden rose to their collective feet and watched as the greatest American Goalie stonewalled the worlds greatest player....the Garden erupted......and it wasn’t just a great save in a silly all star game....5 months later in the Stanley Cup Finals these two would meet again....this time in Vancouver on a penalty shot, with the momentum of the series on the line Mr Richter once again stoned Pavel Bure.....the Rangers rallied from being down a game, won twice out west and won the series in 7....thanks for the memories Mike

Is a dish best served with a shot of tequila and a lemon wedge....so now Nancy pelosi wants the state of union cancelled for security reasons during the government shutdown...yep, she’s worried about “HER “ safety....NOT YOURS....she couldn’t care less about who is strolling across the border, dropping anchor, demanding food, clothing and shelter and in some cases raping and murdering innocent citizens....but when it comes to her safety “ her bedroom window is made out of bricks, the national guard stands around her door..no I ain’t gonna work on Maggie’s farm no more “

Sometimes the obvious needs to be stated...the hypocrisy of the left demands a spotlight....forget for a moment the words of Obama, Clinton, and Schumer who each warned of disaster at the southern border and the need to stop illegal immigration ....hell schumer wanted to give digital ids to every illegal so we could track them, and Obama cried that illegal immigrants would cripple our economy and that it wasn’t fair to people “ waiting in line for legal immigration “.,.,forget that. about face and focus on the dreamers for a moment......at one time they were the golden child of the American left.....but now they seem forgotten.....pelosi and Schumer could get the dreamers legal citizenship i in a heartbeat, Trump has already agreed in principle; if they will be willing to allocate 5 billion in crumbs towards a section of the wall.....but no.....and why ? Because the democrats own the dreamers, they fill them with fear and lies that Trumps wants to deport them....the dreamers of course are loyal to the dems. So there is nothing new to gain ( except for these poor bastards in limbo) ...and God forbid Trump is the President who gets a deal for Dreamers....it kills the democrats argument that trump wants to deport everyone.....once again politicians have managed to shun their own pet causes because they no longer serve them long term........with nothing to believe in, the compas. It’s a shadowy world, skies are slippery grey

in an oft times mean and heartless world there comes a light, there is still decency in the world...….a little boy from North Carolina was visiting family in Utah last month when he was diagnosed with Brain Cancer, his doctors recommended that he undergo treatment in Utah and he did...…..problem was he missed his Labrador puppy back home...….a truck driver who did not know the family heard the story and offered to drive the dog 2300 miles to be with the boy......and he offered to drive the dog back to NC when the child was well enough to go home....as of this writing the Boy and his dog are playing in the snow in Utah, all is right in his scary little world.. Boy and his dog,, Went out looking for the rainbow... You know what did they learn Since that very day..... Walking by the river And running like a blue streak....
