 not sure if anyone is watching the world junior hockey championships this past week, but it really is yet another gift from the China Flu......i have never been able to watch these games the past 30 years as they are always played during the day at my busiest time of the year for work. The past week i have been i have been feasting on these games......something incredibly energetic about young, amateur hockey on the international stage........can't help but evoke memories of the 1980 Team...

In a surprising twist, this years US team has 4 kids from California......the most of any state besides Massachusetts , and these guys are good.....all of them have already been drafted.

Dustin Wolf (Flames) Ryan Johnson (Sabres),Cam York (flyers), Brendon Bisson ( Golden Knights)

watch these guys now if you can , but remember them going forward....these are the future stars of the NHL and hopefully the US Olympic Team.....our hockey future is bright.....now if we can only open a Bar in Bayridge so we can have sweater Nite .

we had 2 beers on the morning trip in and 4 each on the ride home ( with tips $70)

we went to Jeremy's at 8:30 for 32oz buckets, 3 for me, 1 for her ( with tip $20)

took the nyc ferry roundtrip to Williamburg ( $9.00)

had a beer each going and coming ( with tips $26)

had 4 beers in a craft bar down the street from Lugers ( with tip $35)

had shrimp cocktail, T-bone for 3, sides, many beers, and desert (with tip $325.)

had a capper or two in the Killarney Rose before the boat home ( with tip $30)

  daily total = $619

so you see Nancy.....as you give billions away to to the Kennedy center and Pakistani gender studies, your measly $600 in stimulus crumbs, the crumbs you've been negotiating since late July; don't have the BIG IMPACT that you insist they do. In Fact , they don't even cover a celebration lunch in the blue northeast.

 So nobody wants to accept a Bid to the Independence Bowl to play Army......coaches are saying it’s too difficult to get ready for the triple option on short notice......so they would skip a bowl game rather than risk loosing to the United States Military Academy......some friggin country we have here.........embarrassing........... and unless someone steps up, the 9-2 Seniors.....winners of the Commander in Chief trophy......will be denied their right to play in a bowl game ( before putting their lives on the line literally , for the cowards who are afraid to play them........ I hang my head in shame for this country 

O’ say does that star spangled banner yet wave

 North of New York City there’s a special parcel of land, hallowed ground for some including myself. On the banks of the Hudson sits a strategic military post called West Point. Some of the finest Americans this country has produced in her short lifespan of 244 years have spent time and or were trained at the USMA academy there. On the grounds of West Point there’s a patch grass called Michie Stadium. No disrespect to the stars of the NFL the past 75 years, but Michie Stadium is where the greatest of the great gladiators have battled. Men who endure grueling academic and physical training for four years, spend glorious Saturday afternoons  battling like the Romans and the Lions in the Colosieum. Men who would move onto the battlefields of the World for Old glory, some to conquer and sadly some to meet their demise; all of them left their youth and laughter in the end zone of Michie Stadium.

Today, because the pussys in philthadelphia are still ascared of the China flu; the Men of the USMA and Naval Academy will battle till the end on the turf at West Point. ( filly would not allow the students to attend and so the game was moved).

Also today, since we are still in the grasp of 2020 ; we should expect one more monkey wrench to be tossed into this virtual season of the witch.

I’ve said enough, maybe too much.......alas I do suspect that this will be the most memorable of all the Army/Navy games for those in attendance.

no news.....is well......no news

 in fairness i have not been watching much news since the election.......i tune in to channel 5 in the morning to get the weather and see what Bianca Peters is wearing , but that's about it.

saw a story in the Post yesterday about a white man that was arrested back in May on the #6 train for resisting arrest......he was originally approached by 2 black police officers ( 1 male and 1 female) for taking up more than 1 seat on the train shortly after midnight....he was taking off the train resisted arrest and suffered injuries.

very quietly on monday the charges were dropped after the police video cameras contradicted the officers claims of what happened....turns out the male police officer punched the unarmed white man in the face and dragged him off the train while he was asking them what he had done wrong and then the two Cops collaborated to charge the man with resisting.

Police Chief Shea is refusing to say if these two Cops will face disciplinary action.

My Question.........although i suspect i know the answer.......IS THE MEDIA covering this story and are they airing the video evidence over and over and over like they do everytime a white cop sneezes ?
