The official derby rant comes on Saturday.... Along with the official wager for sweater night......but today we try to narrow the field....

Baltimore.... where's DAT ?
Well let's see.....we have a black mayor, a black city council. Almost half the Police force is black and 40 miles away a black/Hawaiin/Indonesian president......surely you can't play the victim card here.....surely you can't throw your hands up and declare that the deck is stacked against you because you are black....can you?
Well to do anything else would be the equivalent of surrendering your eternal victim card....and that can't happen..... And why should it.......in the aftermath of INEXCUSABLE violence that was unilaterally condemned by "almost" all....hell , even the bulk of the citizenship of the charmed city objected to the merits of burning ones own ghetto............... But POTUS could not bring himself.....72 hours after Saturdays riot, and a full 24 after Mondays bloodshed, to condemn the violence without also pointing a finger at Law Enforcement across this country ( his adopted land).....a slow moving crisis train as a RESULT of Police Brutality , thats how he described the conditions in America....
And you wonder why good eggs like Freddie Gray, the honorable mike brown and choir boy treyvon martin had zero, zip, Nada respect for authority of any kind.
Side note.....the city council of Baltimore passed legislation to outfit the Baltimore police with body cameras in January..... The mayor vetoed it...... Thank God the mayor is black or else shed have some splainin to do.
2nd note.....the city of Baltimore lured and negotiated with CVS for yours to open a pharmacy in the heart of the jungle...... Ya think they are coming back ?

frightening times
college campuses throughout the 20th and 21st century have always been a place of free speech and demonstration......whether they went to far at times is open for debate.......whether you agreed with the various messages matters not , but the core value was always open ended discussion....a place to voice any opinion....or to protest anything someone else is demonstrating....even denouncing your country's involvement in War....or supporting the troops......open dialogue, exchange of ideas....tolerance for ALL IDEAS......students have weighed in on everything from Wall street investing in Darfur to vaccines for babies......racism...gay rights...vegetarians against the Klan ( Joe Jackson) ...no idea or cause was too contreversial, freedom to state anything... And also the freedom to protest or debate anything....both sides get to voice their opinion..... Sometimes on the same lawn in opposing camps.
earlier this week the University of Michigan gave in to protets from Islamic staudent who were offended by the Movie "American Sniper" because it displayed negative islamic sterotypes.....and so the school cancelled a showing of the Movie in the student Union,......you see as Christians we are told by the liberal left that we must be tolerant and accept others right to free speech, even if that means defacing a painting of the Virgin Mary with cow feces and calling it art......one big happy Utopian exchange of ideas.....stimulates the brain....leads to greater understanding of opposing views.
Forget for a moment the merits of the movie or the protest......its irrelevent.
What is painfully relevant is that Sharia Law has come to the United States and is alive and well on College Campuses......they will silence and stifle anything that offends the Prophet......no dialogue, no exchange of ideas, NO TOLERANCE......so a college campus, where you can burn an effigy of your own president and the flag of the Nation, where you can denounce the military and law enforcement or spit on the constitution has said you can not watch a Movie....you are not free to hear the message and decide for yourself....... Because "We The Educators . will decide what your allowed to see and hear........
.any movie.....any statement of free speech could be next.

not AWOL, but AWAGFR
I wasnt absent from my blogging duties without leave, but rather; I was Absent With A Good Fukin Reason...... This world has me beatin down to the point I don't even want to comment...... But a pep talk from Brian Duffy in a watering hole in Battery Park City has convinced me to blog on.
So the family of the dearly departed in south Carolina stated matter of factly that he owed child suppor . So thats why he was running away from police when he was shot to death.....failure to pay child support is punishable by Jail time in south Carolina.... Better to end up dead than in jail I suppose..... These quotes will of course never see the light of day on your evening news....... And so we will march and scream that black lives matter.... But nary a moment shall be wasted caring about the little black child living in squalor because papa Bear wasnt paying his child support.
Also buried in news rooms across the land was Barry Hussein's admittion that future presidents will have to deal with a nuclear Iran.... Just hours after HIS press Secretary argued that this was a forever deal to prevent a nuclear Iran....I hope Sarah Silverman lives to see the day Isreal is attacked with nukes.....oh, who am I kidding.... When that happens it will still be Bush's fault.
NFL hires a female line judge...... I knew they respected women..... Not a publicity stunt.
A second family killed from carbon monoxide gas from a generator after the Electric Company cut power for failure to pay their bills.....its very sad...I have no comments or judgments against the deceased...... BUT.....how long before Big Utility is blamed, and the rules are changed to help the deadbeats at the expense of paying customers ?
The world in 2015 is sliding towards oblivion my friends....I blog as much as a learning tool for future generations as I do for the current few who can turn away FM Facebook long enough to watch and care about the news......I only amebas in 3015 can read.
