side note 2......John Sullivan was at the Capitol on January 6th and he committed the inconvenient crime of filming the shooting death of Ashley Babbitt.....earlier this week he was sentenced to 6 years in prison.........the actual shooter ? Michael Byrd ....well he was quickly and quietly exonerated as a justified shooting and then promoted to Captain....look it up.

4 days out from the Kentucky Derby and i have no horse........i need to get busy.....i did see the approximate post time listed as 6:57 ..........i used to host an annual party and the first cars were rolling up to the house at high Noon........the backyard was all clear ( except for some gladiators hanging for the hockey playoffs by 6:57) ....i don't know about you , but if am in full swing by noon these days, i am sleeping soundly by 6:57.

Well, Columbia and USC have decided to bow down to the protesters and beg for forgiveness at the expense of the idiots that pay tuition to attend these over priced institutions. the Trojans wasted no time in cxling Graduation.....so your the 1st one in your family to receive a degree and your parents and grandparents were making the trek to Lala Land to see you walk across that stage and receive your diploma ?  well too bad.

I was dissapointed with their response to Iran....although i think it was basically a forewarning to the Mullahs ...letting them know that Israel knows exactly where the iranian Nuclear program is centered....and hopefully next time they wipe the entire facility off the map.....I still would have preferred to see some Iranian military bases hit hard.......but without real support from the US i geuss the Israelis have to play it safe.

well today starts what we hope is a 2 month Journey to the center of the hockey earth. This may sound strange but i think the first round will be the toughest test for the Rangers. The Caps are a slow , old, boring team with a HOT Goalie.......i am extremely nervous that the longer let them hang around each game and the deeper the series goes, the greater the chance that the caps find a way......Conversely if we come out and take care of business in 5 or 6 games and beat them soundly in the wins......then we will cruise to the Conf Finals and I think we play up to our opponents level and Beat Boston, Fla, Tampa or Toronto............the Finals will depend on how healthy we are and who is our opponent.......but that miserable first round could derail the express.......let's hope i am dead wrong.

side note, the NHL says that the latest date for a game 7 of the finals in Monday June 17th......just so happens i will be in North Myrtle Beach on that date......how surreal to watch the Rangers win the Cup in a Gin Mill on the water in South Carolina of all places.

saw an interesting interview with  Jim Grant the other day...he is a self acclaimed Fed Watcher....and he was talking about today's inflation and the inflation of the 1970's......we talk a lot about bad history repeating itself because people are either unaware of the past or willfully ignorant.

MR. Grant said that rising energy costs were the biggest factor for the decade and i think we all remember gas rationing ....even and odd days plate sales....and long lines at the pump.....but i wasn't old enough to recall or slept through in class ( as if anyone ever taught anything relevant or worthwhile in school) ...there were 3 occasions where the inflation data partially  cooled and Wall Street and others declared premature victory ....he said they were looking hard for silver linings and a reason to decide and believe everything was over and now ok.......only to see inflation roar back even stronger and interest rates to peak at 20%.

sound familiar ?  The POTUS lies and says inflation was roaring when he took office (it was 1.2% for the 6 months prior to inauguration) and then he compares 2024 inflation to 2023 to prove that it has cooled and conveniently  ignores the 2021-2022 numbers.....since Joe took office cumulative inflation is north of 6%....but Wall Street and the Oval office are still pushing for a Rate Cut.......Chairman Powell is fighting for his Job and will probably cave and cut rates in an attempt to help Biden.....Trump has already said he will not Keep Powell when elected........funny thing is that Trump is also a big proponent of lower rates....so whomever he brings in will also cut rates..........so i think we should once again stock up on Beer and Pretzels because inflation is here to stay.

It is starting to look like the NHL will pull the carpet out from under the skates of my beloved Nomads, the Phoenix Coyotes. The team just announced last week that they decided on a parcel of land that they intend to bid on in June and the build their new arena with 0 public funds. the problem is that will take approximately 3 years and the League does NOT want the team playing in the 5,000 seat Mullet Arena on the campus of Arizona State...........that is the sanitized and partially true version that Mt Bettman is feeding to the media....but nobody logs onto this Blog everyday looking for MSM bullshit.......so what's really happening.?

Ryan Smith is the 45 year old Billionaire owner of the Utah Jazz basketball team and the Delta Center that they play in.....he wants another tenant and has made it known to Gary Bettmen that he wants  an NHL team.......he is incredibly wealthy and Salt Lake City apparently is an up and coming market.....and there's nothing Bettmen worships better than the almighty dollar.........so the rumor is that the NHL will buyout the current owner of the Coyotes Alex Meruelo above market price, and then sell the Yotes to Ryan Smith for an even higher sum, and since the Coyotes are 25 years old and have a good farm system and management team in place, they are worth more than an expansion team.......The Coyotes and their young stars move to Salt Lake this summer and play in a 19,000 seat NHL Professional arena this September........Meruelo uses his proceeds to pursue that land purchase and build his new arena, and in 3 or 4 years the league will award him with an expansion franchise........just another example of the rich getting richer....not stephan richer.

anyway...as the Rangers limp to the finish line and a possible first round exit....the future of the Blueshirts will be on display Saturday night at 6:00 on ESPN  as their top prospect , Gabe Perrault; and the BC Eagles take on the Denver Pioneers in the NCAA Frozen Four title game ...giddy up.

i must admit that i was caught off guard the other day .....no not during the fake eclipse, but when i heard FBI Chief Christopher Wray warning that China was the defining threat of our Generation....he lamented how chinese hackers are outnumbering FBI agent hacking blockers 50-1 and he criticized the CCP for stealing technology and trying to destroy the US economy.

I thought the timing was peculiar since the Pride of Ft Hamilton High School Janet Yellen had just visited Bejing for a 2nd or 3rd time in the last year ....the mushroom queen talked about welcoming healthy competition from the communist regime.

I wondered what took so long for head of the FBI to speak up.......nearly 3 1/2 years into this most destructive administration that has been on it's knees to China.....the FBI seems to have suddenly woken up and now is the one ringing the alarm bells .....my gosh....he even talked about the threats of an open border .

it turns out this week was a procedural vote on the renewal of section 702 of the FISA Act , the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act....the same act that allows the FBI to spy on American citizens that come in contact with foreign nationals....WITHOUT a warrant........some conservative Republicans have insisted on an amendment that will force the spy agencies to obtain a warrant before spying on Americans ......seems reasonable to me.....and the fact that the Missing in Action head of the FBI came out of his groundhog hole to campaign publicly about Foreign threats to Democracy convinces me that he and his fellow spies are up to no good.

last night 19 Republicans voted NO and blocked the renewal...it is set to expire April 19th.....the news media is pouncing on the fact that these 19 Republicans blocked the renewal.....no mention though of the 209 Democrats that also voted NO.....one might think in these days of turmoil that the 19 would be applauded for not blindly voting along party lines, but instead they are painting them as dangerous soldiers of the evil Dr Trump.

Personally i think FISA sb renewed, but i also think those in power need to be kept in check.....obtaining a warrant to spy on an American Citizen is a fair and reasonable hoop that these scumbags need to jump through... Lord knows they are probably spying on this blog without permission from Alvarez.

Biden & Austin were looking for a very specific form of extremism......by now you should realize that they were looking for Trump Supporters, and if they found them they would drum up some nonsense and probably discharge these Patriots. This was done in response to January 6th.......the military seems to be the only industry that was singled out for investigation....I guess they were confident the corrupt FBI, CIA and the teachers union were already in lockstep with Comrade Biden.

The Investigation wrapped up in April of 2022 and the results were kept under wrap. USA Today persisted in getting the results of this Govt funded study and apparently it was released quietly on the day after Christmas 2023. The study found zero evidence of extremism in the military....dam that sucks for Joe & Lloyd.....hence the burying of the findings....no real surprise though.....i was lucky enough to serve under Ronald Reagen , but truthfully me and my shipmates would have done the same job with the same conviction if Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter were in the oval Office.

Reggie was a 64 year old Black Man...he was severely handicapped.....he had a steel plate in his head.....he only had 2 fingers on each hand.....he lived in the same rundown building in the slums of the Nation s' capital for all of his 64 years......he was a cancer survivor.........Reggie Brown was beaten to death in a horrific manner......he was chased down an alley way by strangers.....no argument, no fight, no prior beef or debts owed...strangers.....his face slammed into a brick wall until he fell to the ground....his pants were pulled down to his ankles......he was whipped with his own belt......he was kicked, punched and stomped upon and left to die in the alley....how frightened this poor bastard must've been...to not understand who was attacking you or why .....because there was absolutely no reason.

alas there is a fly in the ointment......the 3 assailants arrested yesterday were 3 black girls aged 12 and 13.......let that sink in.......12 years old and so consumed with the Black Lives Matter mantra that they chose a disabled black Life and decided to torture, terrorize and extinguish........the black family of poor Reggie is begging that these 3 miscreants be charged as adults......time will tell.

well well well........return of the Nappy Head Ho's......the LSU womens team and their racist leader angel reese refused to be on the court during the National Anthem last night in Albany before the East Regional Championship....AND....they promptly lost to the female Pete Maravich and the Iowa Hawkeyes.....IOWA of course stood on the court and honored the flag and the anthem.

Their White apologist , head coach Kim Mulkey; insisted that's our routine....we leave the court 12 minutes tipoff every game and go back to the locker room.........perhaps....but why you AWFUL broad ? because the future inmates of some women's correctional facility HATE the country that  gave them free college tuition....they refuse to stand and respect the anthem...and the powers that be at LSU are trying desperately to hide that optic from the public........the reckoning can't come soon enough for some........2+3=BEEER

i count my blessings that in my travels with the Navy, i was able to visit Jerusalem ......they didn't have great night life or strip clubs, but it still the most amazing place i ever visited in person. It felt as though you were walking through a history textbook......as though 2,000 years later very little had changed....we visited the wailing Wall and i inserted my special intentions on a piece of scrap paper.....i simply wrote " A New York Rangers Stanley Cup in my lifetime" and stuffed it into the wall along with the thousands of tourists who were praying for loved ones and family....that was in May or June of 1988.

we also visited the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth.....the photo above is the simple scripture at the entrance....i had to pinch myself to ensure it was not a dream and to confirm i was really standing there...in the very tomb......it was surreal.

As our tour bus packed with military personnel rolled out of Jerusalem, a group of palistinian thugs were standing on the side of the road and began pelting our bus with objects.....one them shattered the glass window and someone shouted that it was a grenade......i was in the last row of the bus with my Buddy Ray Smalls and we were sharing a bottle of Jack and a bag of Mccabe Beers.....Ray was a big Dude and there was no way we could fit under the seats , so we just put our hands in front of our faces and i closed my eyes...lol.....as if that would help....i can laugh now, but for a split second i did think i was gonna die ( fist of many , many times to come)........thankfully the sand jiggs could only afford to throw rocks.....they shattered 2 or 3 windows and our Israeli bus driver barely acknowledged it.......we drove a few miles and then he pulled over and taped cardboard to the broken windows....he was more concerned about loosing our air conditioning in the blistering heat then was about a terrorist attack....everyday life for an Israeli i suppose...........anyway today i drank cold beer and listen to Dylan and i am pretty confident that those palistinian punks are rotting in hell with allah and the other goatfucker pedophiles.......oh, and more importantly ....Jesus of Nazareth or his Dad delivered the 2nd Messiah, Mark Messier to 33rd and 8th Ave....and the rest is beautiful history.

Today we prepare to celebrate to greatest comeback in the history of mans time on the planet, the ultimate comeback story; the rising from the Dead by Jesus of Nazareth.

I have chosen today to look hard for that silver lining, and after quite a bit of pondering i think it may be out there. we often talk about that giant pendulum that swings from one extreme to the other. I think the long decline that started with political correctness and graduated to DEI , has swung as far left as it can go......and i am starting to feel the gravitational pull back to the center (and hopefully the right).

America may be preoccupied and distracted. America may be naïve and willfully ignorant at times on certain issues, but at our core still lies the ability to detect and see through bullshit....even if we don't want to.

This country will never be united again, we are two polar opposites with a shrinking center...(part of the socialist playbook, but we've been over all that) I often hear people talk about how united we were on September 12th 2001......but i disagree......i remember almost immediately afterwards the simpleton extremists insisting that President Bush and Israel were behind the attacks because we needed an excuse to steal Iraq's oil.  Conspiracy theorists will always exist, there's big money in that business...... i harbor no ill will towards them and/or the networks & platforms that allowed them to voice their hurtful opinions. This is America, we cherish free speech....allow everyone to voice their side of the subject and then debunk the nonsense. A lot of people were eager to jump on board and embrace the theory that we partnered with Israel to attack our own....and i will never be united with those people. (these are the same people that swore on their bibles that Bush planted dynamite in the New Orleans levees so the white devils could steal their homes) 20 years later they are still mired in the mosquito swamps....no redevelopment, no gentrification, just louie farakhan and gonorrhea laced drinking water.

I think historians may look back on the events of March 2024 and conclude that this was the point that the pendulum back to swing back. In no particular order, the Border, the illegal migrant murders and crime, The Fani Willis mockery, the Queen Laticia gloating over potentially seizing private property( Trump Tower) over a victimless crime, and the ongoing Biden Crime Family revelations, the administration demonizing the Supreme Court (abortion) and ignoring their rulings (Student loan)  even the collapse of the Key Bridge has contributed to our standing as an emerging banana Republic.

And now the senseless murder of Jonathan Diller on main street USA in broad daylight by a thug with 21 prior arrests that has no fear of prosecution and no respect for human life. 

The optic that may go down in history when all these beans are counted...on Thursday Evening Donald Trump attended PO Diller's wake with the blessings of his widow and family. On Thursday President Biden gathered with old pals Barry Hussein and accused pedophile Bill Clinton at Radio City....they were cheered by a packed House that paid $500,000 for the privileges to attend.

On Friday Queen Laticia asked to speak at the wake and was told NO.

On Friday Kathy Hochul showed up at the wake during the private friends and family session and had an uncomfortable exchange with the family of the deceased.....reports are unclear on whether she was allowed inside the funeral home or not....but the video clearly shows here being ushered out by her Law Enforcement detail....and she looks unhappy with her tail between her legs.

is this the line in the sand ? i mean a true line...not the meaningless ones that the great Spoonjiah drew on the deserts of Syria.

I think the tide has turned....i think a Tsunami of common sense is coming....i may be drunk with false optimism but i do believe middle America is starting to find it's voice again and suddenly is willing to speak truth in the light of day . .....at least i fargin hope so........I am not declaring victory , but i can sense a summer of peaceful revolution.....a grassroots movement to fight for this country and restore values.....if not now, probably never.

there is a commercial for a product/company by the name of Grammarly........a seemingly innocent software company that sells an APP that will review emails or word docs for spelling and grammar errors.....ok.....it also promises to provide clarity, engagement, punctuation and can detect plagiarism and suggest replacements.

That's a nice mission statement......may i suggest an alternative pitch to Corporate America ?

Since you insist on hiring and promoting illiterate and unqualified people that fit into your nice Diversity , Equity and Inclusion program....well then you need an APP like Grammarly to turn their ghetto jibberrish or blonde waif musings into something that make sense. It offers choices like "Sound Confident" or "Casual but Affirmative"...…sprinkle in some chatBT research, clean it up on Grammarly and suddenly stymie is a rising star...….the trouble is that behind the APP, he still doesn't KNOW what he's typing or saying.

This product was born out of necessity...never before in the history of the planet has an education been this devalued. Corporate America is playing a game of Blind Mans Bluff......willfully hiring and promoting people based solely on their gender or skin color...putting square black, gay, female pegs into round holes...they are discarding merit based promotions because they don't like those results...they are walking like a blind man towards the cliff....hoping and praying the AI will bail them out or that they will escape with their parachute of gold before the whole van sails over the edge. When i started on Wall Street you had do math quickly in your head and you had memorize rules and regulations..those that worked the hardest, longest, and fastest rose to the top....the street was dominated by white males of Irish-Italian-German-Norwegian descent......today those same white males are viewed as the Devils....not only do they not appreciate our knowledge, experience and willingness to run through a wall or work 18 hours to ensure the job gets done right....they actually resent it. We are demonized for talking sports, cursing, admiring pretty females and if all else fails...they go after our TONE.
