Howling at the blood on the moon "...... well it's true, the faster we go, the rounder we get and strange strange occurrences in the desert...... sweater nite is taking on a different feel as we sail into the uncharted Waters of number 20....as most of you know, we were approached by the friends of MoMo ( Maureen Nolan) and asked to share the evening portion of PC'S with a benefit for Maureen as she battles cancer.... and of course we were eager to oblige..... so the tentative timeline has USA v Russia at 6:00 a.m. location to be determined....the Blueshirts dropping the puck at 2:00....a hot buffet served approx 3:30......Mac & Mike (aka Richie Havens)open the festival at 5:00.....the benefit kicks off at 6:00....a second set of music and raffles followed by a second round of the buffet..... somewhere in there I begin speaking Mandarin with a touch of swaheely, hopefully my disguise will keep the knife weilding ninjas away from my thumb..... we have geusts coming in from far and wide.... I'm cautiously optimistic that we ring up one for the ages...a night to remember... celebrating 2 decades of dominance in the 209..... this one will really be different, I'd be lying if I didn't admit to waking up with cold sweats from time to time....let's hope everything goes well... how many of those brave women that jumped on the #metoo band wagon, went through their CD collection and threw out all the JZ, Eminem etc etc albumds that include reference to bitches and Ho's.....these "musicians" after all are responsible for shaping the mindset and core beliefs of the youngens that listen to their music.....nobody has a problem with that ? NAH....we'll just wear white roses on our Gucci gowns at the gRammys.....that's a powerful statement.....yikes.

Their days are numbered....the Iceladies announced a disasterous plan that will almost certainly result in John Taveres leaving.....with the new Arena not scheduled to open until the fall of 2021 at the earliest ( they haven't received approval to break ground, nor have they secured financing ) and the Barclays aggressively pushing them out.....they announced a proposal to play a split season between the mosoleuim and the Barclays.....ouch.....kind like the KC/Omaha Kings before the promised land of Sacramento.

in case you missed it.....a U.S. Veterans group applied to take out a full page ad in this years super bowl program....the ad displayed an honor guard with fill colors and a simple caption......#Pleasestand.....at the bottom of the ad was a request for donations to veterans support groups......the nfl said NO FUCKING WAY and rejected the ad...their reason ?? they did not want the super bowl program to become a platform for political statements......I swear to God that was their official response.......so in case you keeping score at home.....the Miscreant, Slobs and Thugs that play in this league can use the National Anthem and a national tv audience as their platform to disrespect this country and our Police Forces' , but a Group of Veterans cannot take out an AD in a program asking/urging the fans in attendance to do what their fucking parents should have already taught them.....STAND for the ANTHEM.....as the ratings continue to dive off a cliff, you really don't have to look too far to find a reason....#boycottthenfl

Skies are slippery grey "......you take a few days off to consume a few cases of beer and you miss a lot around here....the sweater Nite letter was sent out to the masses with great fanfare and was well received as always.....the only complaint came from Dano , he chastised my spelling and grammar.... asked me if I deliberately put mistakes in the letter.....oh well, you can't please everyone as Don McLean would say...... I'm anxiously awaiting the return to the mainland of my brother Steve....he was in Hawaii during the missile inbound panic.... I'm sure he will have some good stories......Our fearless Commander & Chief once again showed he has his finger on the pulse of the nation....he's not afraid to say what mist of us are thinking....the things we say to each other in the sanctuary of the Bar..... .Why are we taking in sooo many immigrants from these SHITHOLE Countries....and why can't we get more Norwegians..... Ronnie would be proud....... special shout out to one of my loyal readers.... Kathy Duffy is turning Hawaii FIVE Oh.... Happy Birthday Kathy.......we were very close to having Kim Jung Uns favorite band Moranbong play some of their hits at sweater Nite....you know...the popular ones... songs like “We Call Him Father,” an ode to the North Korean leader, and “My Country Is The Best!” The music group has been referred to as North Korea’s version of the Spice Girls, a peculiar mixture of Korean pop music and totalitarianism....as the daily caller described them....but sadly they will be performing at the Olympics along with the Army of Beauties Cheerleaders....... equally dissapoiting is the diminished likelihood that Little Rocker man will Nuke the opening ceremony, now that his spice girls will be there.....oh well, we can still dream........" Jamie Morris........ a die-hard Rangers Fan, a Green Bleeding NY Jets fan, a Sweater Nite alumnus and an all around good guy.....he passed away at the ridiculously young age of 51.... fair winds and Following seas Jamie.....God Bless.
