too complex for you to understand

hmmm...this can't be good.......not that there was any doubt , but what's gonna keep barry hussien in line AFTER the election if he should win.....he's gonna have more flexibility...he says so himself......in other words..."I DONT Give a FUK about nothin after the election....I will socialize the entire nation and destroy the military for generations to come".

I wish arms control wasn't sooooo complex....I really wanna understand what is happenin in the world today....pls enlighten me Barry.

WAKE THE FUK UP AMERICA !!!!!!

Obama was asked about the "flexibility" statement later while making remarks to the press about a nuclear safety agreement, and said "Arms control is extraordinarily complex, very technical, and the only way it gets done is if you can consult and build a strong basis of understanding both between countries as well as within countries."

The open microphone comments he made Monday after a bilateral meeting with Medvedev happened right as journalists were being let into the room.

Obama could be heard saying, "On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it's important for him to give me space."

Medvedev responds in English, "Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you..."

Obama then brings up a frank statement about timing and what he can get done, "This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility."

something wicked this way comes ?

It's struck me the past few days how many POLICE units were out and about at the various transit hubs…….kinda disturbing because after 9/11 sooo many people said they noticed an increased police presence at the World Trade in the weeks leading up……..as if alluding to the fact that someone knew something was coming, if not specifics , certainly an intended target like WTC…..i didn't believe it then, but it's not too far fetched….again…the police are probably on heightened awareness hundreds of times a year and nothing happens……so if they were on alert back then it doesn't mean they covered anything up….but this past week I noticed it…..maybe just drills….but a Heavy, HEAVY presence in and around Jersey City and Hoboken……..what ever happened to the National Threat Level color coded system ? Was that retired ?

the continuing story of Bungalow JOE

that's right......his royal highness of all things green is at it again....the mouthpiece of a long forgotten era has stepped to the podium to issue a decree......kind of like when Frank Gifford and Y.A Tittles ghost weigh in on
all the front office decisions of Big blue......the frighteningly old and insignificant skeleton of Joe Willie White Shoes has offered the following on the Tim Tebow Acquisition.....well....at least he's not sexually assaulting sideline reporters.

Broadway Joe knows a thing or two about taking Manhattan by storm, but the Jets’ most famous icon doesn’t seem too impressed with the Jets bringing Tebowmania to the Big Apple.

“I don’t think they know what they’re doing over there right now. . . . I’m baffled, this is like a guy stopping at the liquor store for a bottle of rotgut whiskey when you have 100 year old scotch at home in a secret shoebox under the bed that nobody can find but you" Joe Namath said on ESPN Radio on Wednesday. “They’re kind of mixed up over there. I’m talking about the folks that are making the decisions.

LUPICA: JETS TRADE FOR A QB... AND CONTROVERSY

Namath, who on several occasions this past season publicly criticized Rex Ryan and the Jets for their brash style, suggested that the Tebow trade was another example of Gang Green being all talk.

“Come on. This is crazy,” Namath said. “I don’t know what it’s about. It appears the Jets are trying to grab headlines once again just by making noise, next thing you know they will be guarenteeing a superbowl victory or something stupid like that”

Hobsons Choice

Hobson's Choice, a neighborhood bar that became a downtown landmark, will close for good Sunday after 15 years in business.
Belinda McCullagh, a manager who has been with Hobson's since shortly after it opened, said that the owner, Judy Hobson, aged 71, has sold the bar and will retire. McCullagh said she expects the new owners to establish another bar.
Hobson bought the bar with her son Wayne Hobson in 1996. They named the bar after their own last name, and also for the ironic expression Hobson's choice, which is a choice where only one option is offered.
Tragically, Wayne Hobson, who also worked for the financial firm Cantor Fitzgerald, was killed in the attack on the World Trade Center in 2001. McCullagh said that after deliberating Judy Hobson chose to keep the bar in business.
“Mrs. Hobson held onto it for so long,” McCullagh said. “Now she's moving on.”
Hobson's, which has enjoyed a convenient location across from the Hoboken Terminal, became a fixture in the neighborhood that welcomed many longtime regulars.
One of those regulars, Dennis Knox, reminisced about the bar during lunchtime on Friday. He said Hobson's was an ideal place for people of all ages to mix, including regulars and newcomers, especially during celebratory occasions such as annual playoff appearances by the Yankees during baseball season. Knox, whose brother worked with Wayne Hobson, said the bar always had a friendly atmosphere.
“Wayne was a hands on owner,” Knox said. “It was fun for him to own this place, and his personality is still here.”
McCullagh said Hobson's will celebrate the good years over the weekend, including a live blues band that will perform Sunday night.
“It's going to be a big blowout, with a lot of old friends here,” she said

afhanistan massacre

still no name released, but that's probably to safeguard his family as there could certainly be retaliation against them in this country....I have heard the military insist he acted "alone" and I have heard the media refer to him as a "Rouge" soldier....just one bad apple in the bunch......we also know he served 3 Tours in IRAQ.....and this was his first in afghanistan.......i have never been there, but have friends that have and it seems to me that after 3 tours in IRAQ you are probably showing signs of mental fatigue if not mental illness........this will no doubt be a court martial case , closed to the media, i wonder if they will even bother to question the doctors that said he was fit for duty and another tour overseas......he also apparently has a wife and 2 kids back in the states.....very sad for all involved.

pay close attention

its been 24 hours since the soldier in afganistan went on that murderous spree and killed 16 men, women and children civilians....the president apologized, said that's not indicitive of our military character.......true..........but what of this soldier???

seems to me if this incident happened in burbank or waco or main street USA we would immediately call into question the sanity of the shooter......i haven't heard that yet.

maybe....because it would shine a light on our govt and the fact that our soldiers have been under the stressing point for 10 years now......maybe this is the tip of the iceberg........maybe nobody wants to admit just how bad the moral , payscale and family seperation issues are.......for to do so, would leave somebody up the chain of command as equally responsible....

lets see where the medis runs with this one...

Duff & Polis....come in off the ledge

ok...so the Jets decided to give mark consuelos sanchez a contract "EXTENSION" instead of pursuing Peyton Manning.....and now all the media types and jets fans are gonna compare the two ....as if one transaction had anything to do with the other......a couple of things the gangreeners should keep in mind before they give themselves agita....

First and foremost....the jets have historically gone after somebody Else's hero's, and rarely if ever develop their own....the list of has been QB's the jets have trotted out there is quite long....boomer, testeverde, favre etc etc......and yet homegrown Kenny O'B was probably their best starter since also homegrown Richard Todd.

Secondly....although we know Peyton will win another superbowl with Houston, Denver, Miami or fill in the blank...........we also know......he would NOT win a superbowl with the jets.......deep down inside we all KNOW that the poor bastard would probably slip on a banana peel before the AFC title game and break his neck and end up in a wheel chair if he joined the jets.......the sight of Eli's brother drooling like a vegetable , permanently paralyzed in his sad green uniform would be too much to stomach.

Sanchez ?? who knows ? but at least by extending his contract before Peyton signs with someone else , they don't have to endure endless questions about whether keeping sanchez was plan b.......and be honest....he may never win a superbowl....but a select few ever do....and he doesn't suck...it's fatass Rexs fault...he treats sanchez like he is still in high school.....turn em loose already...let him call the game and throw the ball and succeed or fail...stop with the babying.....but the truth is Rex can't share the glory with anyone...GOD FORBID Sanchez had a great year and they won the superbowl....REX may not get ALL the glory...he is an egotistical fatass bully SLOB.....and he has to go....not the beaneater....

i have said it before...and i will say it again....the Jets will not win another superbowl until Namath is dead and buried....guaranteed he open his big mouth this weekend and criticizes them for not going after peyton....or worse he applauds them for showing faith is sanchez....not sure which would be worse....he just needs to realize he retired 35 years ago..its time to be silent......Duff or Polis...drive out to beaver falls and put two bullets in this jackass' skull...shoot his daughter while your at it....she's fukin annoying too.

i can't wait until santonio holmes tweets about how much he loves sanchez.....hysterical.

mmmm budweiser

this photo was snapped on the 76th street stairs March 1st 1985, my last 12 hours as a teenager were put to very good use....a suitcase of beloved BUDWEISER, temps fare enough to donn the dungaree jacket, a radio blaring countless hours of uncle jerry and the boys........the threat of a russian nuclear attack was put on hold long enough to celebrate the waning teenage era.

Davey Jones RIP

i must confess....when i heard the leader of the monkees passed away...i was hoping it was al sharpton...

Here we come,
Walking down the street,
We get the funniest looks from
Everyone we meet.
Hey, hey, we're the Monkees,
And people say we monkey around,
But we're too busy singing
To put anybody down.
We go wherever we want to,
Do what we like to do,
We don't have time to get restless,
There's always something new.
Hey, hey, we're the Monkees,
And people say we monkey around,
But we're too busy singing
To put anybody down.
We're just trying to be friendly,
Come and watch us sing and play,
We're the young generation
And we've got something to say.
