Dan O aka "Jacques" Cousteau

It was a hot day....it was a humid day.....it was a drunken saturnalian saturday....it was a day unlike any other that proceeded it......it was a day that Myrtle, That savage snapping turtle....won't soon forget......It will forever be remembered as the day that Dano Jacques Cousteau donned the pool goggles, and armed with nothing more than a broken skimmer and a case of amstell under the belt , took on the deadly beast that lurks below the surface. spectators won't soon forget the images that were platered upon their collective memories this day....one lone photo above is all that survived the pre-labor day massacre......Dano would later say he was not even concerned about the 5K reward that Big Jim offered for the capture of said Myrtle , he simply an ex merchant marine who was doing his duty...."that turtle is killing goldfish, and that ain't right.......if I don't take carte of business who will ? Higgins ? John Duffy ?? "

lost in the shuffle amidst an overflow of excitement that surrounded that day was the tiny fact that Myrtle quickly dove to the 4 1/2 foot depths of the pond and Dano refused to persue....she lives another day....."f*ng green water" he would later quip.....'i wasn't going under".

I may have to take matters into my own hands.
