although he certainly is permitted to add an asterisk with a detailed explanation next to his name.....in the official results of the 2013 Boston Marathon, Steve gets a DNF ( did not finish) ....soooo close.
I'll take a dnf over a doa, and the most upsetting aspect is poor innocent people hurt or killed.
However, when they catch the perp, I would like to tie to a bumper and drag for 26.2 miles at my pace, which was around 5hrs...so they experience a long, slow death...
Today is just one more milepost on the long, slow painful decline of America...I doubt we'll wake up in time to prevent the tragic end.
