well....there really shouldn't be any surprise....the Republicans had the reigns for 2 years and accomplished very little from their agenda.....they spent the last 8 months telling us that Iran wants a deal, and gas prices will drop as soon as that deal is signed.....they labeled their adversaries as dangerous socialists , but did not explain to the common person what that means for the them.....did Rogers talk to the Automakers Unions in Detroit and explain that "medicare for all" really means that their platinum health plans that they fought for from Ford & GM will go away if sayed has his way ?
They did nothing to protect elections......and the Tariffs were not used wisely, and in some critical swing states they did more short term harm than long term gain......and they backed off supporting the Ukraine while also trying to convince arab states to be come our new ally.
Trumps ego got in the way of his brain.....he anointed Empty Suit Blakeman and Dingbat Darlene.....and they both got crushed......Stefanik would have given Hochul a serious run for the money....just as Zeldin did 4 years ago....and i think she would have actually stolen back enough female votes to win.......and anybody else with a pulse would have cruised to victory in the dark Red state of SC .....EXCEPT.......a dingbat female riding on the coattails of her dead brother........HOW can we as a party stand against DEI and then anoint Darlene as Lindsey's replacement ? we can't, and we didn't.
the only silver lining is that if the demonrats turn the next 24 months into one long impeachment hearing, then maybe......just maybe......the American public will be sick and tired of them and put Rubio or Vance in the White House.
but in any event, we are in for a few lousy years, and the finger sb pointed squarely at the Donald.....as i have been doing for the past year , i might add.......hopefully he finds a way to get some things accomplished, but i'm not holding my breath.
