Baltimore.... where's DAT ?
Well let's see.....we have a black mayor, a black city council. Almost half the Police force is black and 40 miles away a black/Hawaiin/Indonesian president......surely you can't play the victim card here.....surely you can't throw your hands up and declare that the deck is stacked against you because you are black....can you?
Well to do anything else would be the equivalent of surrendering your eternal victim card....and that can't happen..... And why should it.......in the aftermath of INEXCUSABLE violence that was unilaterally condemned by "almost" all....hell , even the bulk of the citizenship of the charmed city objected to the merits of burning ones own ghetto............... But POTUS could not bring himself.....72 hours after Saturdays riot, and a full 24 after Mondays bloodshed, to condemn the violence without also pointing a finger at Law Enforcement across this country ( his adopted land).....a slow moving crisis train as a RESULT of Police Brutality , thats how he described the conditions in America....
And you wonder why good eggs like Freddie Gray, the honorable mike brown and choir boy treyvon martin had zero, zip, Nada respect for authority of any kind.
Side note.....the city council of Baltimore passed legislation to outfit the Baltimore police with body cameras in January..... The mayor vetoed it...... Thank God the mayor is black or else shed have some splainin to do.
2nd note.....the city of Baltimore lured and negotiated with CVS for yours to open a pharmacy in the heart of the jungle...... Ya think they are coming back ?

frightening times
college campuses throughout the 20th and 21st century have always been a place of free speech and demonstration......whether they went to far at times is open for debate.......whether you agreed with the various messages matters not , but the core value was always open ended discussion....a place to voice any opinion....or to protest anything someone else is demonstrating....even denouncing your country's involvement in War....or supporting the troops......open dialogue, exchange of ideas....tolerance for ALL IDEAS......students have weighed in on everything from Wall street investing in Darfur to vaccines for babies......racism...gay rights...vegetarians against the Klan ( Joe Jackson) ...no idea or cause was too contreversial, freedom to state anything... And also the freedom to protest or debate anything....both sides get to voice their opinion..... Sometimes on the same lawn in opposing camps.
earlier this week the University of Michigan gave in to protets from Islamic staudent who were offended by the Movie "American Sniper" because it displayed negative islamic sterotypes.....and so the school cancelled a showing of the Movie in the student Union,......you see as Christians we are told by the liberal left that we must be tolerant and accept others right to free speech, even if that means defacing a painting of the Virgin Mary with cow feces and calling it art......one big happy Utopian exchange of ideas.....stimulates the brain....leads to greater understanding of opposing views.
Forget for a moment the merits of the movie or the protest......its irrelevent.
What is painfully relevant is that Sharia Law has come to the United States and is alive and well on College Campuses......they will silence and stifle anything that offends the Prophet......no dialogue, no exchange of ideas, NO TOLERANCE......so a college campus, where you can burn an effigy of your own president and the flag of the Nation, where you can denounce the military and law enforcement or spit on the constitution has said you can not watch a Movie....you are not free to hear the message and decide for yourself....... Because "We The Educators . will decide what your allowed to see and hear........
.any movie.....any statement of free speech could be next.

not AWOL, but AWAGFR
I wasnt absent from my blogging duties without leave, but rather; I was Absent With A Good Fukin Reason...... This world has me beatin down to the point I don't even want to comment...... But a pep talk from Brian Duffy in a watering hole in Battery Park City has convinced me to blog on.
So the family of the dearly departed in south Carolina stated matter of factly that he owed child suppor . So thats why he was running away from police when he was shot to death.....failure to pay child support is punishable by Jail time in south Carolina.... Better to end up dead than in jail I suppose..... These quotes will of course never see the light of day on your evening news....... And so we will march and scream that black lives matter.... But nary a moment shall be wasted caring about the little black child living in squalor because papa Bear wasnt paying his child support.
Also buried in news rooms across the land was Barry Hussein's admittion that future presidents will have to deal with a nuclear Iran.... Just hours after HIS press Secretary argued that this was a forever deal to prevent a nuclear Iran....I hope Sarah Silverman lives to see the day Isreal is attacked with nukes.....oh, who am I kidding.... When that happens it will still be Bush's fault.
NFL hires a female line judge...... I knew they respected women..... Not a publicity stunt.
A second family killed from carbon monoxide gas from a generator after the Electric Company cut power for failure to pay their bills.....its very sad...I have no comments or judgments against the deceased...... BUT.....how long before Big Utility is blamed, and the rules are changed to help the deadbeats at the expense of paying customers ?
The world in 2015 is sliding towards oblivion my friends....I blog as much as a learning tool for future generations as I do for the current few who can turn away FM Facebook long enough to watch and care about the news......I only amebas in 3015 can read.

The incredible rash of devastating injuries continues with Zack Wheeler.......in what has become a right of spring came the news he needs Tommy John surgery....by Memorial day we'll have half the rotation and bullpen on IR.
Side note......if I read one fuckin less than enthusiastic comment from terry Collins about Juan Lagares, I may drive down to Florida and strangle him myself.
This sob is a gold glove center fielder with speed and he hits for average.... Pencil him in the lineup with a permanent sharpie and leave him alone.

Kudos to Glenn Braica for not trying to sugar coat the loss.......he was brutally honest and 100% accurate...... The Terriers lost the NEC title game because certain alumni were too preoccupied and self centered to watch the game..... Glenn showed hutzpa by calling out his old bishop ford teammate by name....."Dennis Nolan, or eggroll as some of you know him, flat out refused to watch the game" Glenn stated....." He had a meeting......not a special meeting.....but the same ol tired meeting he has been attending for twenty plus years".......,he continued... " this is a meeting he attended on Monday and will probably attend on Wednesday..... The same format and hungover rambling that plays out 179,000 times daily across the nation in churches, school cafeterias and pine rooms"....the angst and frustration was clear on Glenn's face as he struggled to continue.... " a frustrated Ford Falcon I suppose" was the only reasoning Glenn could come up with when quizzed further about the absent eggrolla...... But it was plain to all that Das Das Strovika had cost his beloved almamater a shot at history.
Stalwarts from around the tri state area ( and Staten island,) gathered in Taverns to cheer on the Terriers and attempt to out drink the coolers....I was in Brannigans of Red Bank with former Saint Franks Valedictorian Donnie Hoff as the mood swung from a new years eve gala to groundhog day.
Young Dan Woods was spotted in the Yellow Hook sipping an IPA and waxing poetically about the Trapp Bros and Joe Friesen to no avail.......as once again the college of knowledge snatched defeat from inevitable victory........."I did my part" Dano was quoted as saying as he waltzed out after the game.
Steven Oliver and Dennis McDermott were inconsolable after the loss, but Roy Dilorenzio banged to put it in perspective.... " most guys were more interested in the Rangers v Islanders to be honest"......good point Roy.....the truth shall set you free.

the 50th anniversary of the edmund pettis bridge march and selma and all things civil rights......i swear as i watched the ceremonial walk over the bridge yesterday, i couldnt help but think that obama was BLACK....he had that old man civil rights shuffle down pat.....holding hands and talking like a southerner.......reminded me of when Hillary marched in south carolina and declared..."i aint in no ways tired" as a show of solidarity with black woman....because that's the way they talk...they dont know none good english them blackies........oh but if a white man every pandered down to this lowest common denominator....let the crufixion begin.
but seriously, the irony of a twice elected black president stating that blacks still face insurmountable odds against succeeding in America 2015 was priceless.......he and other black elected officials went on to say that some of the black kids today have NO IDEA what it was like 50 years ago in America.......well....just saying.....maybe thats because those conditions that you continue to blame for everything from unemployment, drug addiction, single parent families to not winning powerball.....are gone........but to admit that would be to surrender ones CRUTCH........to state the obvious truth that there is nothing preventing a black man from going to school and becoming President of the United States would be to accept responsibility for your own actions......AND THAT CANT IN NO WAYS HAPPEN........
nope , we have to remind these young black kids today that the white man is the devil, the cops want to murder you and you might as well crawl back into the ghetto and start shooting up and cashing your welfare check......the cards are stacked agianst you....even with a black president, we cant win......we want admittion to your country clubs, but we also want our own Kwanza Hollidays......we want to be able to live in beverly hills and Palm Beach....but we resent yuppies and fags from buying homes in the ghetto and fixin them up..........we are equal....but still oppressed....and we hate the Mexicans, Chineese and every other immigrant that has followed in our footsteps and climbed the ladder to success ahead of us.....while we still clammer for handouts, and special treatment.......and on the 100th anniversary of all this nonsens....what can we really expect to be different ? just asking.

from the "youve got to be kidding me files"........this morning, PJ Stock stated and i quote " I never understood why goalies can't play every game without a rest , when all the other players do".
hmmm.........maybe because a goalies ice time is 60 minutes minimum , and 65 plus shootout in a worst case scenario........whereas your best players log between 17 and 23 minutes....maybe more for top defensemen....but still a goalie is playing double the minutes of a forward on a nightly basis....what a maroon.

Wow the ex Mayor of NYC calls the two time elected President of the United States out on his Patriotism, The Leader of the Free world being challenged for his Love of Country.........first off Rudy is right of course....the full quote stated that he never speaks in the familiar tones of President Reagen OR President Clinton for that matter.....whatever we feel about Bills policies....he certainly loved the U.S. ....born and raised in Arkansas......he grew up going to high school football games, chasing skirts , drinking beer and NOT inhaling marijuana when it was offered to him.......Barry by contrast....grew up in Indonesia eating dogs with his african father and then in Hawaiaa ........how manay Americans can relate to that...or Better yet....how many Americans can he relate to ? he doesnt feel like a true American because he is not like us, he has a jealousy towards us instilled in him by his father while they were snacking on prairie dogs in the slums of indonesia....he is afraid to come out and show the world his own religion.....he lives in denial.....how that must suck.
