I have been a staunch defender of the police on this page for ever, but there’s no excuses for the murder in Minneapolis....... the man was subdued and in handcuffs.....whatever ensued did not require placing him face down with a knee to the throat for 7 minutes....whatever he may have said or tried to do is irrelevant....he was already in cuffs.

Something is missing from the story I think......Floyd was accused of trying to pass a counterfeit $10 bill .....seriously? Who would even check on a $10 bill.......first cops on the scene were calm.....handcuffed him without incident........the cop who murdered him had to have a history with this particular person.....it’s the only explanation.......not an excuse or a defense, but an explanation.

In short, the cop with the knee should have been arrested day 1.......even as the investigation continues.
