well....with major Colleges suspending fall sports i am very optimistic that the Football players at the Big Ten Factories of Michigan and Ohio State will use this down time to concentrate on their online degrees....we should see the GPA's for these student athletes skyrocket now that the athletic department staff will be taking the anonymous classes for the star athletes. seriously though...most of these guys have been consumed with football 24/7 since they were 10....they were excused from the mundane chores of normal kids because they were "athletes"...they were exempt from the laws and norms of society and their criminal behavior was explained away or brushed under the rug.......let's see what happens when they find themselves back in the inner cities this septbember/october, instead of raping coeds in the luxurious Athletic dorms.....i think the SEC is holding on to hopes of their season so they can actually keep an eye ( or lid) on their players......i actually look forward to reading the tiny paragraph blips about this cornerback or that defensive lineman being arrested on a hodge podge of charges across the great U.S.A. ....funny how just 2 weeks ago the players were uniting to demand social justice before they would agree to participate in sports this fall.......well maybe not social justice....but i think you just GOT equality........you just went from the staring tailback of USC to a "person of interest".....good luck.

side note ....with the islanders and flyers up 1-0 in the playoff series.....we need a Corona outbreak in Toronto now more than ever.....cmon CHINA...go north of the border.

second side note.......the Mets, Braves and most of the MLB have already played 20 of their scheduled 60 games in this shortened season........the Cardinals have only played 5 because of postponed games .....how can they possibly make up 15 games in 7 weeks ?    5 inning triple headers ?
