Good Sunday Morning to one and all.....Oh how i long for the days when we seperately celebrated Lincolns Assasination and George Washington escaping from New Joisey.....now sadly we lump them together into one weird twisted confused 3 day weekend.......and the good DR. gets his OWN day.......we should celebrate Bernard King as much as we do Martin Luther.
anyhow I digress, today we cross the bridge to Brooklyn, sneaking in at dawn amd launching an assault on Pippins Pub at HIGH Noon for the showdown between the broadway Blueshirts and The Broad Street Bullies.....oh how I wish it was 1979 all over again with that colorful cast of characters on both sides of the ice , but alas tis not , and so we make the most of what we have.
Truth be told , i am sneaking into the 11209 Drinkers Code to peak around and ensure that preperations for Sweater Nite 11 are on track.....I come beraing a bevy of gifts for my Bartender Brian P Duffy and all I ask for in return is a steady, cold Flow of Ale....
Tomoorw , we tap a fresh Keg in Club Gato for any and all that choose to stop by.....steaks on the grill at noon...weather permitting.
