newfound respect for the equine racers

it was the longest mile, on a brutally hot day and an equally difficult surface, 100 brave souls and 1 pony, attacked the sacred oval of Monmouth Park, the oval of champins, the host of Haskell Heros throughout the years. I was afraid at first that the pony had laurangitis, but she was just a little horse, these photos are the only pieces of evidence that survived the day.thankfully there was plenty of cold beer at the finish line and throughout the day , and the Koots provided the soundtrack for a splendid day.
