so the St. Louie Cardinals took their World Series Trophy to the Rams Vs Saints Game and lo and behold the winless Spagnolas notch their first victory over the mighty invaders from N~orlens......
Last Night, Cornball Larusa donned a Blues Sweater and took the trophy to the Checker Dome ( remember that arena) and inspired the blue Notes to rise up and beat the hated and heavily favored Canuckleheads de los vancoooover.
it's in that spirit of contagious victory that i am going to monmouth Park for the breeders and hope that Clancy's good fortune will ruboff on me and I actually hit a few races.......alas, i will be accompanied by the Great Cooler...the Jinx of Higgins.....it will be a battle of wills.....does Clancy force us to raise our game and pick a few winners......OR....more likely......Do we drag Dermott down to the muck and mire and loosing on photo finishes, tossed Jockeys and stewards inquiries....? time will tell
