can't help but feel we are collectively hiding under our beds as the Federal Govt tramples our liberties to SAVE and Protect us from the FLU....the fucking FLU...……...what are they saving us for if in two or more weeks our Country will be unrecognizable ?

ENOUGH.

when does it stop ? lets follow the $$$ and the hypocrisy of our locally elected officials....let's use club Gato as an example.

Gov Mutphy says Club Gato has to shut down......and so Head Bartender Matteau Matteau is laid off.....and Gov Murphy says that the Feds should give him unemployment.....OK...….but as the owner of Club Gato I still have to pay rent....so Gov Murphy says the Federal Govt should give my small business an interest free loan so I can continue to make payroll and pay my rent...…..that's what is called throwing good money after bad …...continuing to pay bills to stay afloat even though we are closed and there is no revenue stream......so how about we tell the property owners  and the banks to suspend rent collections and mortgages since we are ALL in this together ?...…...and the property owner in turn has a reasonable request...how about you forgive and suspend my property taxes so I can suspend rent collection and my tenant can use emergency funds to pay his staff ?

and that my friends is where I predict this Hysteria will end...….when the local Govts are asked to do their share instead of just holding daily press conferences and blaming the President....when they  realize that there are NO sales tax being collected because nothing is being sold , no Hotel occupancy Taxes because the city is shut down, and when the pressure is on for them to forgive Property taxes to keep business alive OR God Forbid slash their own budgets to be more in line with the $$$ they collect.....THAT is when it will suddenly become OK to reopen Bars and Restaurants...….and I seriously think that we will hit that point next week.....and the Bars will slowly reopen the following week....perhaps with reduced max occupancy....and perhaps restuarants will be asked to reduce and spread out seating....and we can get back to being a country....and guess what ?  a lot of people will get the Corona Virus....and guess what ? a lot of elderly people and those with underlying conditions will die.....but guess what ?  That's OK...….that's normal.....that's the life cycle.....it happens every year with the regular FLU...….WE NEED TO MOVE ON !


nice side note......Nice move yesterday by the private sector automobile makers....Ford, Tesla and GM all said they would convert assembly lines to produce ventilators and or whatever was asked of them....that my friends is American Spirit......THAT is our Country Digging out of the Rubble....next step is let the healthy people Get Back to Work......keep my stimulus check.....give it to the folks who should stay home as a precaution....give to the unemployment benefits for those business that it's too late to save.....but let the rest of us save this fucking country before it is too Late....I would rather catch the disease and even die while doing my part for America than live with my head under the bed

I am a Pisces....we are optimistic people....I believe March 19 & 20 will be viewed in History as the days that America woke the fuck up.....let's hope I am right.....until then I leave you with the Beatles.
