in No-Man's Land (Hunter-Garcia)Well he did it, he FINALLY did IT......The GREAT Alvarez lead Argentina to the World Cup victory over France.....he singlehandedly carried the team on his Magical Right Foot. (how exactly do you carry something on your foot singlehandedly?) Yesterday as Sunday turned to Monday under the Quatar Moon, the mad Argentine by way of Panama (city in fla) netted a unique hat trick....he scored a PK goal ....he scored an OT Goal, and he scored a fifth of Jack Daniels from the lobby Bar despite the silly moslom ban on alcohol....like Pele before him, ole Alvarez only goes by one name...could be he never had a first name or more likely he just forgets what it is....As Crowds roared around the world the Great Alvarez stayed cool as a slice of cucumber in your Mojito.....they held watch parties in Pensacola, Pascagoula, Redbank and yes on the beach in Panama City too.......maybe even Buenos Airies. Jet fans in the Redrock patiently waited for the beautiful game to conclude so they could be thrown to the Lions, and this finale did not disappoint....no distraction from the Tiki Bar at the Norwood this time around......Viva Argentina and God Bless Alvarez.
