Why do they have to tear down an American Icon like Barbie ?
If Mattel wants to make fat dolls, black dolls, curvy dolls, or Asian dolls....be my guest.......but don't call them Barbie.
Barbie is HOT....always has been.....always will be......give the horizontally challenged pieces of plastic their own names.....Ruby, Jasmine, Penelope or Soumallah..... Whatever.
Give Barbie a fat cousin, a drunk sister, a slutty neice or a stripper step daughter if you want to appeal to more demographics..... But leave the icon alone.
You don't hear men crying that it's too difficult to live up to the standards set by Ken do you ?
