Since it cost a lot to win

 and even more to lose

You and me bound to spend some time

wondring what to choose  (Hunter-Garcia)

deal or no deal ?  i stayed away from the TV and printed papers all weekend , i saw a blip on my phone that a debt ceiling deal was reached in principle.......now i am reading that is NOT the case......sounds like a significant amount of conservative Republicans will vote NO on the deal........it will be interesting to see if any Demonrats vote Yes......if they do , that tells you everything you need to know about the details of this deal.

I attended a Memorial Day Service in neighboring Rumson yesterday . They had a young veteran of the iraq/afghanistan wars give a speech......i wish i could tell you what he said.....but a group of obnoxious, privileged scumbags were so wrapped up in their own lives that they could not STFU for 5 minutes and allow the rest of us to hear the speech.........a young boys rugby team dressed in watermelon jerseys were talking, joking, kicking a ball around and holding an impromptu clinic at the back of the service .....and when i turned around to shh them i saw that their parents were all standing there chatting too.......it was a voluntary service.....nobody was ordered to be there.....if you are so uninterested in what the speaker has to say....then do the right thing and leave the park you miserable scum.....i'm kind of glad that there are not many WWII Vets alive to see this worthless scum that their friends died to protect.

O'Sullivans closed yesterday......thanks to all our Bayridge friends for taking 8 seconds out of their busy days to text and alert those of us who do not live in 11209.

oh well, just another one of those days suppose.

It goes to show you don't ever know
Watch each card you play
and play it slow
Wait until your deal come round
Don't you let that deal go down

we are all being played....

this debt limit deal doesn’t cut spending, it just limits how fast spending grows. What’s more, there are reports that every Democrat in the House – including the Progressive Caucus – is ready to vote for the deal, which should be a pretty clear sign McCarthy got rolled.

the end is near...$30+ trillion debt, $1 trillion run rate interest expense...it's just a matter of time...
