Well the Coyotes of Arizona seem to have quite a few ways to get out of here. The other day I mentioned Houston and Quebec as two most probable landing spots for these desert dogs......but now two more formidable options have tossed their hats into the ring at the feet of the Wile E. Coyotes .

Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes tweeted out that Kansas City Coyotes has a nice ring to it , in an attempt to have the hockey club at least look into moving to the land of Royals and Chiefs.

And Ned Lamont, the Gov of CT made a personal appeal to Gary Bettman to remind the league that the city of Hartford is still trying to fill the void left by the departure of the Whalers. It would cost a lot of money to renovate the Civic Center, but with Quinnipiac the reigning NCAA Ice Hockey Champions, you can probably count on a few Frozen Fours and Regional bids if they do bring the old arena up to speed.

As i said , this is a very good young team......and they have 2 draft picks in the top 12 of this years draft....which scouts say is the most loaded NHL draft in 25 years. ( if you are keeping score at home, this will be the 4th straight year the Iceladies do NOT have a first rd pick......Lou Lamerillo...the gift that keeps giving.)

anyway....as much as i love the old Hartford Whalers, i do not want the Coyotes relocating to the Northeast.....i would much prefer the deep south.....Myrtle or Folly Beach would be nice, so when i retire i can walk to the arena......they better not give Atlanta a 3rd team .....2 strikes and yer out....and besides  the bow tie wearing senator and Abrams the slob don't want a sport loaded with whiteys anyway.......Jacksonville would be nice.......i'm sure the statute of limitations has expired for anything i may have (or have not) done in JAX....would love to see a Conf Final between the Fla Panthers and the Jacksonville Coyotes......oh well....time will tell......and remember  2 + 3 = Beeer
