there is a commercial for a product/company by the name of Grammarly........a seemingly innocent software company that sells an APP that will review emails or word docs for spelling and grammar errors.....ok.....it also promises to provide clarity, engagement, punctuation and can detect plagiarism and suggest replacements.

That's a nice mission statement......may i suggest an alternative pitch to Corporate America ?

Since you insist on hiring and promoting illiterate and unqualified people that fit into your nice Diversity , Equity and Inclusion program....well then you need an APP like Grammarly to turn their ghetto jibberrish or blonde waif musings into something that make sense. It offers choices like "Sound Confident" or "Casual but Affirmative"...…sprinkle in some chatBT research, clean it up on Grammarly and suddenly stymie is a rising star...….the trouble is that behind the APP, he still doesn't KNOW what he's typing or saying.

This product was born out of necessity...never before in the history of the planet has an education been this devalued. Corporate America is playing a game of Blind Mans Bluff......willfully hiring and promoting people based solely on their gender or skin color...putting square black, gay, female pegs into round holes...they are discarding merit based promotions because they don't like those results...they are walking like a blind man towards the cliff....hoping and praying the AI will bail them out or that they will escape with their parachute of gold before the whole van sails over the edge. When i started on Wall Street you had do math quickly in your head and you had memorize rules and regulations..those that worked the hardest, longest, and fastest rose to the top....the street was dominated by white males of Irish-Italian-German-Norwegian descent......today those same white males are viewed as the Devils....not only do they not appreciate our knowledge, experience and willingness to run through a wall or work 18 hours to ensure the job gets done right....they actually resent it. We are demonized for talking sports, cursing, admiring pretty females and if all else fails...they go after our TONE.

I shouldn't really pick on poor stymie....truth be told there are very few African American males on Wall street........Black and Arabic females however are everywhere.....and HR is giddy that they check two boxes.....not all, but some have no desire to learn the job........they all want to be the Chief and nobody wants to start out as a lowly Indian.....even the Indians don't want to be Indians... and the AWFUL's run HR.....if you are not familiar with the term an awful is an  Affluent-White-Female-Ultra Liberal.....and they are hellbent on easing their guilty conscious by kneeling before migrants and begging for forgiveness....they despise white men who have the nerve to speak the truth and sometimes speak it loudly....and a lot of middle management white men tuck their tails between their legs and act as bobbleheads.....they agree with everything the AWFUL's feed them.....i'm so lucky and grateful to be in Ron Turcotte mode.......as i told my new department head in our first meeting.....i said "I'm in the middle of the home stretch at Belmont, i have a 32 length lead and i am galloping out the final furlough, and i can't help but sneak a peak behind me".............needless to say he was speechless and we haven't spoken much since that day last September........I wanted to be crystal clear to this guy......don't waste your time getting to know me, i'll be gone at the mornings light....truth be told i DID think i was getting a buyout this month.....and now it looks like i have to stick around another year....oh well......at least this 40 year old superstar won't include me in his narcissistic rambling meetings ....i don't think i could keep my mouth shut for that long.

anyway...my main point is that these corporations KNOW that their DEI stars can't or won't learn and do the job they way the white devil did....and rather than holding the incoming generation to the same standards that we were held...they will invest in spellcheck-Grammarly and Chatbot to camouflage weakness and disguise their ambivalence. 

The problem is when all the fiddlers suck.....whom do you hire to play those tunes......or more importantly when corporate culture is all corrupted....where do you invest.....well....i know one CEO who still insists that Merit and Merit alone can be the only barometer...he wants the best and he doesn't care about color or gender...........i begged everyone i knew to buy as much JPM as they could afford when it was trading at $30 after the 2008 crisis.....well it closed Friday at $196......pays $4.20 a year in dividends....giddy up.......and with all his competition drowning in political correctness , Jaime Dimon will only increase the Secretariat-esque lead....giddy up
