well friends that's two clunkers in a row for our beloved El Gato Malo, and if your an owner of the wicked Cat you must be scratching your head this day. A Trip to the holy land of Louisville Kentucky on the first Saturday in May is slipping away. Colonel John Breezed to Victory at the Santa Anita Derby yesterday, El Gato made one move on the last turn and appeared to be poised for an explosive stretch run, but it never materialized, leaving our derby dreams in ruins.
In other racing news, War Pass finished in the money after his disastrous last place finish in fla last month, but the big story at the Big A was Tale of Ekati winning the Wood.......perhaps SNX may have to adopt this horse as our own.........The Illinois Derby was even more shocking.....Dennis of Cork,the even money favorite , failed to crack the board, instead it was 19-1 long shot returntoglory coming out of nowhere.....Z Humor is back in the thick of things with a thrid place finish....we'll have to see if the Z Bird decide to crash the derby party this year....27 Days till the Derby......it's crunch time.
