i waited and waited and waited....i kept checking my phone.......but no messages were incoming.
was verizon down ? did i loose my connectivity ?
surely someone soon would send me a birthday message celebrating the 246 Birthday of the Worlds Greatest Navy ........nope
i wore my Navy Polo shirt and went to dinner at the beach.....surely the bartender would notice and offer salutations.......nope
oh well.....maybe if i am still around for the 250th birthday.
side note....insanity 2021....the Rolling Stones have retired their hit song Brown Sugar following backlash.......backlash from whom and for what is not clear.......even Keith Richards says he wants to know where the "Sisters" are coming from on this one......the song talks about a slave owner that whips the girls around midnight down in new orleans, but certainly doesn't glorify that.....oh well...thankfully Jay Z has not retired songs like 2 many Hoes....Niggas in Paris....and Big Pimpin ...and will not change lyrics like " I got 99 problems, but a BITCH ain't one".........whew, that was close.
Te Jean Caddotte was unavailable at press time to comment on whether Shadoobie will follow suit on Brown Sugar.........Mac's comment had something to do with track work near Schermerhorn St causing delays on the A,C, R, Q and G lines.......well ok then.
Joe Gruden had to step down as coach of the Raiders for a "racial Trope" that appeared in one of his emails from years ago.......the good news is he is now free to call everyone a NIGGA and a HOE and grab his crotch ...as long as he does so at the Halftime show @ the super bowl.
