historically i have played loose with the facts in order to lighten up the news and keep this blog fun....so i feel compelled at times to say "not a joke"....yesterday was one of those days......when Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm was questioned on how many barrels of oil the US consumes on a daily average she said " I don't have that information in front of me".....OK, you are the energy secretary and you are holding a press conference to address releasing the oil reserve to combat gas prices....maybe you should know ..........or is it because she knows that 50 million barrels does nothing for the Average American....? America consumes 18 million barrels a day....do the math..but wait theres more

Fox Business is reporting that the 50 million barrels released will primarily go to CHINA and INDIA to relieve the global shortage.......again....not a joke........even Rodney couldn't come up with these jokes.

So the President is tapping the national Oil Reserve.....something that has only happened in the past because of War or the aftermath of Storms that halted production in the Gulf of Mexico....

.will anyone on the evening news remind America that President Trump took advantage of Historically low gas prices ( $38 a barrel) to restock and tap off our national reserves last year ? don't hold your breath.
