and so now, after being played for morons and fools...an insider with the Mets has confirmed what most of suspected....there was no Rat or Racoon...or Ratcoon  in the dugout tunnel this summer....but instead there was an altercation between middle infielders Francisco Lindor and Jeff Mcniel.......everyone right on down the line circled the wagons and stuck to the Rat/Racoon story........their little inside joke at the expense of their ignorant fans....but now we hear that Lindor followed Mcniel into the tunnel and grabbed him by the throat.........let that sink in..........ask yourself......had the roles been reversed.......had utility man and probable trade bait Jeff Mcniel grabbed the 300 million dollar man by HIS throat .....would we have heard about it immediately ? would Mcniel have been fined, suspended or even released ?  would louie rojas have told the press that theres' just no place for that in the game and would the Mets have insisted that violence isn't part of the winning culture they are building ? 

 It's my opinion that Lindor threw JD Davis under the bus when he made an error early in the year ( Mets lost 3-1, lindor was hitting .200 and he said the defense let the team down ...Davis made an error that night) because he preferred his fellow latino Louis Gillorme as his infield partner.......and he lobbied for Javy Baez instead of Mcniel at 2nd...........very similar to when that other POS Santana cried when a young left fielder misplayed a ball in the Miami sun in the first week of the season that cost him a run in a 2-1 loss.....that outfielder was none other than Danny Murphy........

so maybe it's not racism but just preference......if i had a choice to hang out in a bar and have a few beers i would chose to do so with Mcniel and Davis instead of those imported Ricans Baez and Lindor......but the undeniable fact is that Met management covered up an ugly transgression by one of their star players.....protecting their investment ? perhaps.......but let's not get on a soap box and preach down to the world the next time an ordinary Joe or Jeff does something similar.

in short, i hope the mets trade the few guys a like this offseason, so i can laugh as they loose 100 games......remind me again ?   how many games did Don Smith say he was too upset to even play after the 13 soldiers were killed in Afghanistan ?  how many times did he make a spectacle of himself and drape home plate with a Blue Lives Matter T-shirt after an innocent police officer was killed in the line of duty ? ? ....sorry...my mistake.....those grand jestures are saved for miscreant thugs who are injured while slapping the shit out of their baby mamas.....good to know.
