i'm not big on boycotts...and i try to never tell anyone what they should or should not do.....but i like to make people aware of things that may not have heard from the lying, deceitful main stream media and share my course of action.

Like an idiot i was actually planning on watching some of the Olympics.....things had been very quiet in the lead up and i figured with little else on the tube, i may put the games on each night to catch some of the track and field and a few other events aside form the basketball, professional tennis and lesbian soccer that is .

Thankfully on Friday i read on the internet that the opening ceremonies featured a group of mentally ill cross dressed men reenacting the last Supper....at the Olympics ? ...why drag Jesus into this ?  like most of the mentally challenged they crave attention....but who signed off on this and why ? and what exactly did the Fake Pope do or say in response ?  Honestly i do not really care because i have moved on......i try to follow the teachings and the word of God as best we know it to be accurate....but i have moved on from the "MEN" that run the religion. I still believe in God, but i don't believe mankind.....but that;s for another day.........as for NBC and the Olympics ? oh well, they won't miss me.....but i did put a parental Block on all of the NBC channels and their affiliates that carry the games ....because i know the cable companies provide that info to add agencies.....the neilson ratings system is too perverted and manipulated to trust anymore....but if Verizon tells the agency that handles Ozempic that half a million people have blocked NBC....well they might rethink those 30 second spots next time around......

anyway I hope Alvarez wins a medal and tells the world from the podium that 2+3 odes in fact = BEEER

8 days after the assassination  attempt on Presidential Nominee Trump and we have more questions than answers......SS Director Kim Cheadle, aka the Pepsi Queen, held one call with lawmakers that conveniently  experienced technical difficulties during the Q&A.....can't make that up.....she then walk sprinted away from questions during the first night of the RNC and has not really been seen since.

let's see what happens tomorrow.......i am sure after 8 days of huddles in the swamp they have a new villian to blame.....maybe Trump Tax cuts are to blame.....or Fracking or Global warming or his proposal to NOT TAX TIPS........somehow they will connect the dots back to January 6th.

The American Public has a right to know what the hell happened...... incompetence ? apathy ? or Treason ? 

when did they first engage the shooter ? and what happened between that encounter and the first shot?

The fact that a SS sniper was able to get off a shot so quickly, (albeit a one in a million hit they are now saying) leads me to believe he had Matthew Crooks in his crosshairs already......so did he need approval to shoot...did someone refuse to give him the green light ....or did he simply wait/freeze until Crooks shot first ? what is protocol in that situation ? 

I did see footage of Crooks walking around the building prior to the rally.....he doesn't seem concerned about being seen......as if he had permission to be there , almost as if he felt he was working with Law Enforcement/ SS......he was part of them....he didn't fear being detected by them.....it looks like he is scowering the building looking for a ladder or a way up to the roof.........these are just my observations....i hate conspiracy theories because i feel they cheapen the reality of what may or may not have happened......I want to believe that this was a lone freak ......i want to believe the security detail was lax , short staffed, ill prepared and perhaps lured into a false sense of security ......I don't want to believe this was planned....but the continued stonewalling and arrogance makes it difficult.

Kim Cheadle was on VP Joe Bidens's wife (the evil doctor) detail when Joe was VP......she retired from the SS and went to work as head of global security for Pepsi and she successfully prevented Coke from stealing their secret recipe.....in 2022....sleepy Joe and his wife brought Kim back and made her head of the Secret Service.....her stated goal was to increase the % of female agent to 30%....Kim Cheadle is obviously another Diversity and Equity promotion....she has been congratulated and patted on the back her whole life for having a pair of tits. She was probably never corrected or disciplined for being an idiot because in today's society you are not allowed to provide real feedback to a female or a minority, instead you tell them they are Great, Great, Great and then find some white male devil to cover their work while the female is at an awards ceremony or doing an interview.......Kim Cheadle is either an incompetent product of the DEI movement...OR...she is guilty of treason,...i doubt we will ever know for certain...but i am curious to see what she has to say tomorrow.

wow that was some round of gold yesterday at Bel Aire.

Playing in a foursome behind Paulina Gretzky and Paige Spiranac was surreal....these lovely ladies were chugging beers and slamming back shots and posing for pictures with everybody.

it was nice to see that Gino's fm Bayridge had setup a popup food tent at the turn and was also serving ice cold tap Beer from Farrells.

The peaceful day was thrown into chaos when yet another meteor screamed across the sky and crashed into the water hazard by the 12th tee box......it was scary but the splash it created was welcomed on a hot day .

the big surprise came after the round while enjoying a few beers at Donavan's reef and suddenly both Bob Dylan and Neil Young turned up to play a few songs on the Open Mike.

yep it was an exciting day....i wanted to include all the highlights since my Brother Steve will be getting his news from the hockey Blog as he bike rides across the state of Iowa in the 2024 RAGBRAI..............2+3=BEEER

Kim Cheattle will now appear to be in over her head as the Leader of the Secret Service and she will portray herself as a well intentioned bureaucrat  who made some mistakes....but the truth is nobody is that incompetent. In light of recent stories by the NY Times and CNBC that the Secret Service was alerted to a Plot from Iran to kill Trump....there is no way she can feign ignorance and just step down....she needs to be prosecuted and we need to know who was behind this assassination attempt....her excuse that a sloped roof was dangerous terrain for a snip to be stationed in unacceptable.....especially since the snip that took out the 20 year old kid was also on a sloped roof.... what say you Kim ?

the media coverage last night was as weak as it gets......only one camera angle played over an over....even the live reports from the scene did NOT pan back and give you a good idea of how the stage was set up.....i kept waiting for an aerial shot from a drone , but it never happened....perhaps the air space was restricted.......but nobody that i saw even posted maps of the location or painted a clear picture......but here it is below.....and when i saw this photo i almost spit my coffee.....how in the world were those rooftops on the left A) unsecured and B) not have full surveillance in the event they became occupied ?

the dust will settle and these and many more questions will be asked........but I think Mr Trump has to realize , if he has not already; that nobody in Washington or the current Government can be trusted....he need his own security details.....and he needs to guard his schedule and mix it up at the last minute............and let nobody  into his inner circle.....I never thought i would be saying these things about the Government whose military branches I served in.........

it was a shocking event that should have shocked nobody. I am talking about the establishment.........every branch......every industry.....every level......every man, woman or tranny that's involved......they are not afraid for the country , they are afraid for themselves. They are terrified that in his final term after being elected...this version of TRUMP will be very different than the version we saw from 2016-2020......That TRUMP was vying for 4 more years....this TRUMP will not hold back or contain himself...the gloves will come off....the "intelligence Community" will be gutted and torn down and rebuilt from the bottom up, middle out ( to please the libs) and the investigations will begin......Nancy-Chuck-Hillary-Spoonjiah- Big Mike-Oprah, all of them with their dirty little secrets....and the media will pay for their acts of censorship which amount to election interference......how ironic that they will be sentenced to the gallows for the crime they tried to pin on Trump.

not sure what made me think about it, but something did.....and through the beauty of technology and the internet i was able to research and pinpoint the exact date of a trip i took so very long ago...

It was a Sunday afternoon in the Lief ( July 6th, 1986 to be exact) and a commercial came on TV for the next nights Monday Night Baseball telecast....the Free swinging Oakland Athletics against the unhittable 14-1 phenom Roger Clemens and the 1st place Red Sox from the confines of Fenway Park.....not only was this enticing us to tune in....but for me and Steve Collins we saw this as an invitation to fly up to Boston and attend the game....and so we did.

it was 38 years ago.....and i haven't thought about it much, but some details are crystal clear and others are not......we didn't realize at the time but in 3 short months the Mets would be up there battling the Bosox for the World Series....I remember it was brutally Hot......Steve looked it up.....July 7th was the hottest day of the year in Boston for 1986.......he also remembered that the beers in the concession were pre-poured and were warm and flat......things sure have changed in that regard....back in 86 each stadium only sold 1 or maybe 2 brands of beer....deal with it......and if they were warm ? tough.....

I remember our hotel was near the stadium....i know we drank in Cask & Flagon before the game....but not sure where we went after the game.....i remember that Canseco and Kingman homered off of the eventual CY Young and MVP pitcher and the A's won the game......i remember the next day drinking in Fannuel Hall at the Ames Plow... and on our flights back to Newark we gave the names Keith Hernandez and Gary Carter....nobody checked ID's back then.......sometimes it feels like a distant universe.

well.......i sure hope the Rangers and Chris Drury aren't finished......because with the exception of lulu and the islanders; everyone else has gotten better.......don't try to validate it, just trust me.

my two watchdog teams had active offseasons.....the Utah Yeti are bringing in a few veterans to help season their stable of young, developing talent and will surely make the playoffs in their debut season by the Great Salt Lake.

and our other team that we love to stalk , the Detroit Redwings; are having a Broadway revival.....Stevie Y knows exactly what he is doing......he drafted well, his young guns are also developing , and now he brought in some fellas that can teach/show them how to win....it may just be coincidence but he now has 6 players that spent time in a Blueshirt recently....Kane, Tarasenko, Motte, Copp, Gustafson and my old favorite between the pipes....Cam Talbot .....the Yzerwings are another near miss from last year that should appear in the post season...

Barry Trotz made the biggest splash in Nashville....signing a trio of top tier free agents to go with a playoff team roster.....Stamkos, Marchessault and Brady Skjei ....along with maintaining their own key free agents.......watch out for the PREDS....

as for Drury....he's in a tough spot....they gave too much of their cap allocation to Shesterkin......you need a good goalie to win the cup.......not one with a behemoth salary that limits how you fill out the rest of the roster.....but every team is up against the same cap....despite some teams having the distinct advantage of being located in a state without income tax ....no surprise Tampa and The Panthers are enjoying so much success.......still there are rumors that Drury is working on a blockbuster to land Trevor Zegras away from the Mighty Ducks......we shall see.......

i just watched the POTUS interview with george snuffleupagus and i was alarmed by one or two things that may not be picked up by the MSM....we all know career politicians do not answer questions...they deflect and then steer their answer towards a few talking points that they have memorized....we fully expect that....but to do that you have to have a reasonably sharp mind.......biden tried but failed to do that in my opinion.......he kept trying to talk about Nato and keeping russia pinned down......does he really not understand that the war has going on for 2 1/2 years ? and despite the billions of dollars that the US and Nato have given to the ukraine, the war is at a virtual stalemate ?  it's not a success to state that an enemy invaded an ally on your watch and that you have thrown taxpayer money at the war that appears to be never ending .

this most alarming response though was early on....they talked about the debate...Joe said he had a bad cold and was exhausted from traveling to Europe....to his credit snuffleupagus reminded the POTUS that he had spent the prior 8 or 9 days at Camp David, but Joe waved that off and said i took a covid test (um...ok)....then George asked him have you watched the tape of your performance at the debate ?   "No, i don't think i have"  was the reply......WTF ? 

to watch or not to watch can be argued....but it was 8 days ago.......how can you NOT know if you have watched it ?

I said the morning after the debate that Joe would step down symbolically on Independence day....i underestimated the Surgeon General aka doctor jill........this evil witch will never let the reigns of power go........i still think she is publicly humiliating him for his years of infidelity...but the vultures are circling....and on Monday they return to DC....i think this week will be an all out battle in and around the white house.....choosing sides...backroom deals...etc etc.....and i still think the end result will be his announcement that he will NOT accept the nomination and that they will choose his replacement at the Convention........and it will have to be Kamala ..or else what's left of the loyal black vote will disappear.

I would never attack , bully or make light of someone in Joe's shoes......we ALL are on the same path and it's terribly sad to see the human mind and body deteriorate .....especially under the microscope and on the world's stage ......but he was an angry, arrogant, belligerent simpleton before his mental decline , and so i offer no empathy.........when i start showing signs of major decline, i just ask that someone turns my wheelchair to face the window and plays some Grateful Dead on the ipod....instead of sticking my in the corner listening to taylor ham.

 I may have shared this story before , if i did ...apologies to sleepy Joe.

i was sitting in the yard yesterday drinking a cool refreshing beverage and watching the Muts on Mute...i think they need to activate Grimace and give him the plate appearance that Mister Met never got....but i digress. The above referenced gem from Santana came on the ipod stereo and i was taken back to 1985 and the Indian Ocean......in truth...every time i have heard this song since the day in question my mind has traveled back.  

I had been in boot camp for the summer of 85.....and then School in Indiana and a brief trip home before my first assignment on the Island of Diego Garcia , the footprint of Freedom . I had not seen a band or heard live music in probably 6 months or more....sometimes you do not realize how much you miss something until it returns into your life.......

On this particular night my roommate (Dave Croke)  convinced me to go to the base club for a few cold beers....not a difficult task.....and we soon learned that a British ship, HMS something or other ( i wish i could remember their name) was in port and the ship had a house band and they offered to play in the enlisted club......again, i didn't think too much of it......until they opened with Black Magic Woman.

They were probably an average band, somewhat clunky, with a makeshift sound system .....BUT ...after going so long without hearing live Rock n Roll i was enamored....They were GREAT.....you could feel the base chords deep in your soul and the guitar solos were piercing.......oh how i had missed the sounds of great music......and now for the first time since i flew to Great Lakes and the start of bootcamp...i found my life starting to return to normal.....i was standing at the Mahogany....cold beer in hand, clusters of young females in attendance and LIVE ROCK N ROLL.....

we stayed a few hours and the band played 2 or 3 sets....can't tell much more about their setlist.....but the opening chords and solos of Black Magic Woman have taken up residence in a happy space in brain......years ago i would call Dano after having a memory like this one....as he is the only other person i know that spent time on That Rock in the IO........the British Indian Ocean Territory of Diego Garcia.......maybe he's still reading the blog and shaking his head up there.
