A New format was unveiled by Chaz on Sunday morning for the Hockey Pool 2009.
16 skaters will assemble at 5:00 P.M. on the first Tuesday after the regular season ends......each man will deposit $100.00 into the hat, and simultaneously withdraw a little white sheet of paper with a playoff team listed upon it.
At 6:00 p.m. we will have a group handshake and agree to split the pot 16 ways to avoid the possibility of loosing any money or risk having some fun for two months and root for a team you normally would not.
At 6:05 Chaz will hand each skater $100.00 , as their stake in the winnings , and we will declare the pool to be a success.
Just like politically correct T-Ball , no winners, no loosers, nobody keeping score......what fun.
