a man should never gamble

more than he can loose ( D. Bromberg)

football prognostications.

i love all 4 road dogs....here is why.

Bengals +  3.5 @ Titans.....Cincy feeling good after getting that playoff win monkey off their back....playing with house money, nothing to loose....and Burrow-Chase are really coming into their own as a dealy combination....Titans may be tight at home, lots of guys coming back from injuries....if they fall behind early it could be a long day

Niners + 5.5 @ Green Bay......i am least confident in this one.....i just think at 2 degrees that SF can run the ball and kill the clock and keep it tight , if not win...cover.

Rams + 3 @ Tampa Bay.......the Giants beat Brady twice by knocking him on his ass all day.....Tampa has 2 banged up O lineman....Rams have best defensive line in the league.....I Think Stafford plays loose and puts up points and Brady has a long, long afternoon.....Rams outright

Bills + 1.5 @ Arrowhead........i am a closet Chief fan...i hope i am wrong......but the Bills lost the AFC title game here last year ....Bills ran out to early lead (9-0) then got ambushed (38-6) before adding 10 points in garbage time......Bills are better this year....Chiefs not quite as good......I think Buffalo has grown a lot this past year and wins a close one........look for Bills to build a sizeable lead and then hang on for life at the buzzer.

alas.....i have been wrong before.

I'd be careful with Cinncy and the Niners.

Tanneyhill may carve up the Cinn pass D, which is #26, with A.J. Brown and Julio down by the schoolyard!

The Pack is 8-0 at home and 7-1 ATS in those games. Rodgers vs a banged up Garroplo - guess who I'm taking? They also have the battering ram, A.J. Dillon.

Good luck.

P.S. Don't forget the extra week off and being home, while these other two have to travel (and SF 3rd week on the road). That's why these type of home favorites in this round are huge plays! On Saturdays over the last 11 seasons, home teams are 16-5-1 against the spread (ATS) in this round. (But, road teams are 21-8-1 ATS on Sundays since 2006!) I found these last two tidbits on CBS Sports: https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/nfl-odds-3-divisional-round-betting-trends-to-help-you-win-your-bets
