timing is everything.....it used to be when something big happened in the world it would be talked about, reviewed and dissected by our 24/7 news channels for a few weeks....not anymore......the Republican nominee for President was shot 3 weeks ago.......within 10 days the waters were muddied by the FBI, was it shrapnel , was it a bullet ? the SS diversity chief steps down....the acting head acts like a total douchebag in his testimony on the Hill.....the story kept changing, new videos emerged and still the FBI cant access the shooters phone.....and now everyone has moved on.

before the big news of sleepy joe's backroom deal to get 4 Americans home from Russian prison, there was some other news that has now been kicked off the back page before it was practically reported.

9/11 planner Khalid sheikh mohamad cut a plea deal to avoid a potential death sentence. a month before the 23rd anniversary of the World Trade Center attacks ; the DOJ has cut a deal with 3 terrorists that will spare them their lives. I have a lot to say, but i won't......i will just point out that this is why we are a weak nation......and if you do not learn from past mistakes, you will repeat them.

on the brighter side of the planet.....the Sweater Nite Summer tour 2024 rolled into Las Vegas last Nite to Celebrate the Birthday of our Captain and a visit to the Sphere to see Bobby ace and Dead & Co....I wasn't there, but one of our plankowners was there to Represent.
